If I had to guess, maybe The Unfettered is listed there because they have no philosophy/code of ethics.

You mean the Conflicted or the Unfettered?

The Unfettered. Someone who is The Unfettered has no philosophy.

Ok so you mean that the Conflicted tries to fix his inner conflicts (say 2 conflicting philosophies) by throwing both away, and becomes a goal-oriented Unfettered rather than clinging to any belief?

In the Four (Five) Philosophy Ensembles there are 5 archetypes explained = Optimist, Cynic, Realist, Apathetic and Conflicted
Now I have a question about the Conflicted
In the section about the "Common Characterizations", it lists types such as the Ditherer which are obviously connected to the concept of Conflicted (Ditherer being someone who can't make decisions)
Then there are other characterizations such as the Unfettered and Fallen Hero listed under it
How is the Unfettered, a very decisive person, tied to the Conflicted? In other words, what can trigger the transformation from Conflicted to Unfettered? Same thing for Conflicted to Fallen Hero.
