Amusingly, there's Johnny Depp's return to film this year, Jeanne du Barry, to fill a few years of that gap (not that much). It's odd that Louis XV doesn't have a series around him yet, dude was Really Gets Around incarnate.

She was accused of having an extra-marital affair with a woman, though there was no evidence, and became a sapphic icon in the 18th and 19th century. Do note that historians largely agree that there is no proof of the woman herself ever having lesbian tendencies.
