Kaleidoscope

This made for an interesting viewing experience. It was billed as a show you could watch in any order, and due to my familiarity with TvTropes over the years, I came to realize they were using a lot of techniques such that you would not be confused if you watched any episode first. For example whenever they introduce recurring FBI agents they make sure that you know they are FBI agents, either by there jackets or in one instanced they make sure to focus that the car they're in marks them as FBI.

Having said all that there probably was a narratively satisfactorily way to watch that I didn't. I did what I call a back and forth. Watched the white episode (the episodes are named by colors) last and for the order that netflix gave me (there are apparently three major orders to subscribers) I watched the first episode first, then the last episode next, then the second episode after that, etc.

It was interesting seeing context for things that earlier I was like "why is the show focusing on that" at the same time I figured out a lot of things before the show revealed it. I'm still not sure if that made me feel clever or it ruined the surprise...

I think I'd give it a 7.5/10.

Haven't finished watching it yet but the idea of the show having episode that is in an Anachronic Order is hard for me to get used to but it kinda make sense.
