The first episode is about a doomsday prepper played by Terry Crews who, after losing his only companion, goes on a cross-state trip to meet with the only other person who knew him through email before the world ended.
The second episode is a Wham Episode about two insurance workers named Blair and Gina who, in trying to leave Atlanta as the military begins shutting down, are at the site of a gas tanker explosion, or so they think. Totally different form of storytelling than anything TWD has done before.
The third episode continues the story of Alpha (Dee) and Lydia before they met Beta and started the Whisperers. Tensions rise as Alpha (correctly) predicts foulplay aboard a sea vessel she and Lydia have made home in, but the rest of their group suspects Alpha as the culprit.
The gift that keeps on giving.
If you ever thought certain episodes of the show worked in bite-sized pieces then this is a distilled miniseries version of that
