Generally the policy is to separate based on publication date of possible, so it'd be King's Quest (1984).
Are you getting the message "Sorry, the groupname and title must start with a letter and cannot contain special characters." when you try to make the page?
No, I just keep seeing it make a link to the existing King's Quest page and the paranthesized content being in plain text.

Could you provide a link to the page you're trying to make?
Sorry, it is saying "Sorry, the groupname and title must start with a letter and cannot contain special characters" when I try to start that page, yes.
Okay, the issue is you can't make the page with parentheses in the url, you have to add them in later with a custom title. (See How to Make a Custom Title.) So make the page at Literature.Kings Quest 1984 (or however you're disambiguating it), then submit a custom title for it.
I handled the custom title request. Remember to add the gamebooks to all relevant indexes, not just the single-medium franchise page.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.I don't believe there is such a policy. I think Kings Quest Endless Quest would have been just fine.

Good morning, I was hoping to get some help with something. I'm trying to create a page for an entry in the Endless Quest book series, which was TSR's Gamebook line. One of the books was titled King's Quest, but it has nothing to do with the PC game series of the same name. Which also has its own Literature page for novels spun off from the PC games. I was trying to make a page with a title like "King's Quest (Endless Quest)" to differentiate, but it doesn't seem to work. Could anyone please advise?
