anyone else here a fan of noisy ambient/drone? i absolutely adore it personally, probably in my top 5 favorite genres.
since i'd imagine that no one here has even heard of it, i'll list off some examples for you guys to check out if that would interest you

Belong - I Never Lose, Never Really (from October Language)
Jefre Cantu-Ledesma - Stained Glass Body (from Love Is a Stream)
Yellow Swans - Sovereign (from Going Places) (leans much more on the noisier side; made by one of the pioneers of the genre)
Tim Hecker - Pond Life (from An Imaginary Country) (much lighter, but still counts because of the feedback in it)

Hmm... Definitely an acquired taste, but I can see the appeal.

You can find many such ambients in the Submachine series, especially the standalone exploration game "Universe". Too bad they're not availiable on youtube, so I have no links to post.
