Has anyone here ever had one of those times where you get through celebrating a holiday and while, for all intents and purposes, the day went rather well, all things considered, there was just something negative about the way the day played out in certain areas that you just can’t move passed in your mind?

I’m having one of those times, one among many in fact. But for right now, I’m stuck dwelling on how this year’s Fourth of July went down. I mean, for all intents and purposes, I did manage do all that I wanted to do this year, I watched what I wanted to watch in observance of the day and even managed to finish it all up before it was time to watch the fireworks. Plus, this year there were two of my three nieces (my sister’s two daughters) visiting my mother for the festivities, and since I live right next door to her house, I was able to go over and watch the fireworks with them and my mother. I even sent a “Happy Independence Day” text message to both my sister and my brother, along with a text of the same type to our father, and even got to speak my oldest nephew (my sister’s firstborn and only son) over the phone. For all intents and purposes, this day went pretty well, all things considered, but there are still some issues about it that I simply cannot get over, regardless of how small that they might be in a much grander type of perspective.

Has anyone ever had this type of problem?
