Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles the Game(s)

Something that makes me wonder if the Ronin will be the same turtle as in the comic, or they will change it to surprise even those who read the comics.? (Or alternatively you can choose which turtle survives, and that turtle will be the ronin.)

*2. The comics already had Casey jr, so I imagine she'll fill that role.

My game theories.

• Considering that the Ronin uses all four weapons, it is possible that by leveling up you can decide which one to specialize in.
  • Or alternatively, it could be that there are enemies that are weaker against a certain type of weapon, so you constantly have to change it.
• As a game is obviously much longer than a 5 issue saga, I imagine they will add more villains as bosses.

So apparently a Hades-inspired co-op roguelike TMNT game just got shadowdropped called TMNT Splintered Fate. The problem is that it's currently an Apple Arcade exclusive.

I was hoping they would add Miyamoto Usagi as a character.

The trailer says there are new playable characters. Usagi Yojimbo is the first of multiple.

Glad to see them expanding to stuff from Archie Comics and other continuities. I could see Ninjara actually become a playable character rather than just a cameo. While the crossovers with Batman are fairly recent, a game about dimension-hopping into alternate continuities could be used to justify Batman as a playable option. Could be fun to also have black and white Palette Swaps for the Turtles.

Given how cute that sprite looks now I hope Ninjara might actually be playable.

Maybe Karai will get in.

Interesting, I thought Ninjara's rights was owned by her creator and not the TMNT copyright holders?

Yuki Matsuzaki, who voiced Usagi in TMNT 2012, confirmed that he's voicing the character again in Dimensional Shellshock DLC!

Looks like such a fun game. Reminds me of when I was playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Arcade Game as a child.

This is the first official 1987-verse version of Karai, right? Not counting Lotus Blossom.

Think so, yeah. I'm pretty sure Karai wasn't in the original series, so now we're getting popular characters from other series, remade into the '80s style.

She appears in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles which was also based on the 87 show.

Ah, right, forgot about that one. Yeah, that comic used a version of the 87 verse, all the way down to white Baxter.

She kinda looks like her 2k3 version, with a moveset similar to the version of her from the fighting SNES fighting game.

Tbf that comes down to the fact that well she originated in mirage. Her character as it became through the franchise came from 2003. Even this and the PR comic use that over the original portrayal.

all they'd need is Aska for the real deep cut character pick XD

Still holding out hope for Jennika, the fifth turtle from the ongoing comics.
