It's kinda crazy, a lot of people expected Saturn to die at the end of the arc, but now all 5 Gorosei are gonna be on Egghead. This new development really makes you think...
- Are any of the Gorosei going down this arc?
- Is the Iron Giant going to finally activate?
- Can Dorry and Brogy even handle a rescue of this magnitude?
- Is Mary Geoise "safe" now that Imu is alone?
I think that either no Gorosei will go down, or all of them do. I can't really picture a middleground in between.
And this is definitely about the time when we'd need that iron giant to finally activate and come out to even the odds a little. Things just keep on swinging from one extreme to another with this arc.
As for Imu... even in the unlikely possibility that someone knows about them and is in position to seize the opportunity with the Gorosei out, I'm sure they can handle themselves for a little while. And there's still the God's Knights.
It seems that the awaited Wano cover story is starting, but the fact it does so underwater makes me wonder if it's going to be different than waht some expected. Might be like the MADS one, and it will tell us something that is happening concurrently with the plot, and will directly impact the story in short notice.
With the Gorosei I've been seeing some theories that the heart of their powers is that they're projections essentially. That the real body is somewhere else, which is why you need a summoning circle. I'm betting if Luffy finds that body, they go down quite easily. That's of course, if the theory is true.

Another thing that I'm curious is how down Kizaru looks after crashing in the ship. Rather than being in pain, to me he looks very sad and regretful after killing Vegapunk.
I really hope Vegapunk's death brings back genuinely impactful and heartbreaking current time deaths I am sick to death of people just dyings ramdomly with the importance and pathos of a wet fart.
And I hope this wont be "Your death will only matter if you are killed by an admiral either."
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Honestly, I don't see Vegapunk's death having much impact - on account of him not really dying in the first place. A few of the satellites still live on, after all.
honestly death is probably really weird for Vegapunk in general
the majority of his brain is Punk Records after all
Secret SignatureThat's assuming the Records survives this whole fight though. The battle is far from over yet and the Elders might target this one specifically due to the memories it store.
"If there's problems, there's simple solutions."that does leave the question of the Satellites surviving if the Records are destroyed
Secret SignatureNow I'm starting to get the feeling that we will still get some reveals from Vegapunk, but then the transmission will be intorrupted before he can truly say everything.
Enough to cause turmoil in the world without giving away the all of the biggest mysteries of the story.
I feel the same. Of course Vegapunk wouldn't know all of the big mysteries in the first place, but he would know what Ohara knew, particularly the Great Kingdom's true name - and I feel like that's just one of those big things that we'd only learn at Laugh Tale. A good place to cut off the transmission.
But it'd be the second time around for the exact same tease. Oda isn't usually that predictable.
Future fight predictions.
- Zoro versus Nusjuro. Finally snatch the greatest Demon Blade. Lucci might end up doing a face turn and assist.
- Usopp, Chopper, and Edison versus Mars. He's a bird so he'll probably be the one trying to bust right through, making himself a sitting duck for snipers.
- Sanji versus Ju Peter; Dorry and Brogy versus Warcury. These ones are pretty interchangeable but I like it this way around because Ju Peter has a certain resemblance to Sanji.
- Luffy versus Saturn, maybe still Kizaru, and occasionally bouncing around to help the others.
Not all of them are going to win (or even be able to hurt their opponents in any way), but that's fine, they just need to hold off for a few minutes.

Raws for Chapter 1110 are out, and we get a look at the monstrous forms of the other Elders.
- Jaygarcia Saturn, unsurprisingly, confirmed as Gyuuki
- Marcus Mars is an itsumade, a type of bird youkai
- Topman Warcury is a boar monster known as a "houki"
- Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro is a skeletal horse monster called a "bakotsu"
- Shepherd Ju Peter is a sandworm
Itsumade huh? Would be pretty funny if Usopp was the one to defeat Mars considering how the actual itsumade went out.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.Ok those designs are straight fire!
I did actually correctly call Mars transformation being an Itsumade.
Ju Peter just being a "sandworm" seems like it breaks the theme, maybe there is some obscure yokai he is based on, but right now this seems like a Dune reference.

Zoro with the usual finisher again eh. Swording's so boring.
Secret SignatureRAW pages are floating around now, the Five Elders really are introduced with the just their Yokai title cards rather than the usual Devil Fruit name reveals, is Oda really going to make them some kind of primordial demons rather than just Devil Fruit users like some are theorizing, maybe conjuring Devil Fruit powers out of their own will by skipping a fruit altogether?
I won't be surprised if there's a Wham Shot of them swimming...

I like how it implies Sanji making fun of Zoro for still fighting is what causes him to finally finish the job.
Still have to wonder why he felt like taking his time in the first place. He had way better things to do. Still does.
Also, disappointed at the cover story. Seen enough Wano and Yamato for a lifetime already.
Making fun of him the exact same way Lucci did, to boot.
I am happy mainly because just all five forms have been revealed. Can't wait to the other four to be characterized too. Not as much as Saturn but more.
Canβt wait for someone to redraw the page of Sabo surrounded but now unsilhouetted
Such blueballing! All we were looking forward to, nothing of it happened! And it just keeps on escalating! How can we survive for another week, let alone two? The torture!
I suspect that the whole of the message won't go through. Vegapunk should just have given it all right away without delay and hoped for the best.
