Chapter 125; I'm actually surprised. I thought the reveal would be Class Prez's grandma dies while she leaves to go be an idol, and that's why Class Prez blames herself, because she wasn't there to take care of her. Instead, her friend dies on the way to pick her up. Didn't see that coming.

edit: Oh, I forgot; Ombusmen are spirits of children, so it couldn't be Class Prez's grandmother. And she said she had lost a friend, not a family member.

Also, I love how we go from sad backstory to giant building robot chasing down a rock-and-roll parade float.

And so, class rep's story (or rather Rin's story, as we finally find out her name) comes to an end, and we get back to figuring out what happened to Okarun's ball. And Momo likes it when he looks her in the eye.

And Rin gets an annoying tagalong spirit for her troubles (don't hate her, but what we see of Mai's personality here would probably be irritating to deal with after a while.

Yeah, hope she doesn't become too annoying, as the interactions between the two were very heartwarming. The fact that her friend was in the car so she could apologize was a further gut punch.

Now that's we've had a ghost story, I wonder if we're going back to aliens or cryptids now.

Fucking finally, and what a crew they are assembling to do it too!

I'm guessing that delinquent school is where we're going to meet up with Momo's first Jerkass boyfriend again — you know, the one she dumped in the first two pages.

Huh. Guess not. Momo would have recognized the name if it was him. Also, it's funny how the school treats inter-class rivalries as sporting events.

But who's this guy who told him about the Golden Ball? Count Saint Germain, perhaps? We still have no idea what his deal is.

Hence the relevant character is "Zuma Unji" (in Japanese name order).

Okay, so, just finished getting caught up on this manga.

...HOLY FUCK. Shit, this series is so GOOD. It's crazy and weird and a lil' raunchy but GOD the art is amazing and the characters are great. This shit is fun, I love it.

High point is definitely Vamola's whole arc and that FUCKING ALIEN INVASION FIGHT GOD THIS WAS PEAK. GIANT FUCKING KAIJU FIGHT AND EVERYTHING. EMOTIONS POURING OUT. SO SO GOOD.

I know, right?! And now we've gotten further in the Not!Jumanji arc, and it looks like we've got a new character/romantic rival to add to the pile.

Also, it's been a while since the teaser dropped, and it's still not posted here. Time to rectify that;

Hadn't considered it, but this would be a decent way to introduce a guy that becomes another love interest for Momo.

Just hope this doesn't turn out like with Jiji, where he bonded with Momo just long enough to make Okarun jealous and have barely done anything together since.
