Considered making a thread myself.

Seeing Okarun use his "training" moves to defeat the Evil Eye'd Jiji was something I never knew I wanted until it happened.

I'm really in love with this series, especially what they did with Jiji and his friendship/rivalry with Okarin.

That said, I'm usually against this kind of thing, but would you just kill the boomers already? The story treats them as kinda humorous villains, but they tortured one main character for years, were about to rape another and murdered countless people in the past. Being devoured by the giant worm they worshipped was just about the right fate for them.

I too am eagerly awaiting those cultist assholes to get their comeuppance.

I didn't remember that priest guy at all, so him showing up to save Momo came completely out of left field.

Well, it's nice to see old enemies/new friends show up to help, and of course grandma kicks the most ass.

Grandma kicks ass. Her trick with the anatomical model was cool too.

@Chapter 48: I'm like 50:50 that Evil Eye is just gonna bust out and force a rematch with Okarun.

Nearly as likely: the next obstacle is a fight to exorcise it from Jiji or at least get it under control.

I’d say the second option is more likely, actually. Probably set up some room or ritual in order to exorcise Jiji.

It’s nice to end the chapter on a tender hug. Okarun and Momo needed that after all the craziness.

Going to assume there’s some meaning/myth/lore there, but my mind jump to Ranma 1/2.

Mine as well, though given the first changed involved eating a hot (solid) food, I don't think water is required, just heat or cold.

Chapter 50: Jiji has it tough having to be puppeteered by an anatomy model because a god is possessing him. Another wonderful sentence to write. I’m pretty sure Jiji will still retain the Evil Eye powers when all is said and done.

I don’t see what’s wrong with the name Peeny Weeny. It’s easy to say. It sounds like an alien name. Nothing juvenile about it at all.

My favourite part of the chapter was Aira playing with the alien baby in the background. Also Jiji is tall as hell

I thought that might be from Evil Eye or Taro's shell, but someone posted a panel where he's like half a head taller than Momo without even standing up straight. Also, I guess his parents are kind of small.

That's kind of a hard shift where Evil Eye coming can just be a pure gag where they don't even show how they stopped him.
