So, how has Hailey's On It been faring for people so far? Considering it hasn't really gained much online traction and is the only one of the currently running Disney cartoons to not have a second season confirmed (others are Kiff, Hamster & Gretel, and Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur), is it at risk of being a one season wonder?
The YMMV page has a So Okay, It's Average bit attached to it and that's kind of how I feel. IDK if the ratings are enough for it to get a renew, but most people I know just kind of consider it alright, and not really anything super exciting, but has its high points.
I feel the same way. Like, the premise is interesting enough, but...I don't know. It just feels like it's missing something. Like it needs some vital element that would really make the show work, but I can't quite put my finger on what that is.
It was pretty interesting when the soap opera elements were still in place, like Scott dating Kristie and his sister being interested in Halie, but for some reason they dropped those stories completely. The show's still fun and charming, but all the stakes seem to have been removed and every episode is filler.

That sounds likely. I think it might also be the tone. From the few episodes I've seen so far, it seems like it's trying to go for a Phineas and Ferb kind of vibe, being very light-hearted and silly, but I feel that doesn't fit with the stakes they set up with the existence of the future being on the line and all. I think it should've played itself a bit more seriously—though not like super-dark or anything, of course. Just a bit more serious.

The series has been supposedly cancelled after one season, according to Auli'i Cravalho's spotify bio.
We are the best friends, we stand as one. Whatever life may bring, we are never alone.
Not surprised, it's pretty much the least popular among their currently running shows and we hadn't gotten a season 2 announcement even with 20 episodes out of 30 released.
I'm trying to look into a first-hand source. To my knowledge, Spotify pulls those bios from somewhere else on the internet, which may not be reliable.

SoundCloudAccording to this tweet from a crew member, Hailey has not been canceled yet. They are waiting on word from the higher ups.

The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Yah, there's still more episodes left to air, it'll remain on the bubble until the data for the entire run is in for Disney.
New Theme Song Takeover!
I'm currently binging the first available season on Disney+ right now. How many other kids' shows can name-drop IRL references on occasion like Rolling Stones? (and if you count Hailey's brothers Dwayne and Johnson)
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.Beta is my spirit...computer-dressed-as-a-teddy-bear.
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.Ohh, an episode all about Hayley's crush on Scott, as the school press get a hold on a book containing evidence of it. I wonder if this is at all like a repeat of the Hey Arnold episode with Helga's journal being discovered with all her poems about Arnold?

The wedding for Hailey's parents was unique in that it significantly altered the status quo and preserved the 'new normal' at the same time. Hailey's parents discover they never filed the paperwork and never officially got hitched, Hailey helps arrange a new wedding for them, has them sign the licences, then afterwards she and Scott neglect to mail the marriage certificate, so the parents are still not officially married.
It's confirmed that production on season 1 has wrapped up now and they had a wrap-up party.
Still nothing on season 2. Considering how no one really seems to care about this show enough to talk about it, it's possible this could be the first Disney show since Billy Dilley to not get a season 2.
