In the past (ie last week) I said the show had absolutely no reason going so hard. But, GODDAMN, the recent episode REALLY had no reason to go THAT hard.
Like there was so much R rated levels of body horror and psychological horror that reminds me that Disney used to own Hellraiser as one of their properties.
Don't Judge me, need more views: https://www.deviantart.com/big-k-2011 | https://bigk1337.newgrounds.com/ | https://twitter.com/BigK64133Everything aside, it's actually a lot more respectful and mature compared to the equivalent events in the comics, especially the relationship between Jean and Madelyne.
Yeah I'm actually glad they did it like this. Though I suppose in a "proper" length the reveal would probably be in a later episode.
What happened to Morph after getting mind controlled for a bit?
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life.Hey hey at least Scott didn't abandon his wife and child this time. It was all things beyond his control, though at least Madelyne holds no harsh feelings for him.
Jesus Christ Sinister is frightening this episode.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."He was recovering offscreen until his last focus episode was him facing his Sentinel fears as they fight to rescue Gyrich and Trask from a surviving Master Mold who wanted revenge on all of them.
EDIT: Wait, you mean after they shapeshifted into Darkchilde? They got beaten offscreen. Besides also having a bone to pick w/ Sinister and being the comic relief of the team, Morph's role in this season is apparently to provide fanservice cameos by shapeshifting into other characters.

I assume it happened at their wedding since Sinister was the epilogue there.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.…So Morph is definitely attracted to Wolverine I think.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.I suppose the million-dollar question is: would Logan reciprocate their feelings if he doesn't have a certain redheaded psychic on the brain, or would he only view himself and Morph as Just Friends (with or without a case of Incompatible Orientation)?

Wolverine in the cartoon notably was ALSO sniffing on Heather Hudson, wife of Vindicator.
So, well, he certainly has a type of redheaded women who are taken.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters. So what you're saying is that if Morph were to consistently take on the form of a feminine-presenting redhead and then hooked up with, oh, let's say Beast for example...
A good episode this week, but I feel the ending needed a bit more clarity I think it stands to good reason when Scott fled the scene when faced with giving up Nathan, that was when Madeline realized building a future with someone like that was impossible, it's possible she felt Scott wouldn't have been able to forgive her for complying with Bishop's idea...but it needed to be outright stated I think.
Kinda bumed that they put Nathan in time portal, but happy how they handled Madelyne and question of switch. Plus Sinister was delightfully terrifiying.
Also, techno virus Sinister infects Nathan with sure looks like one Apocalypse gave to Friends of Humanity. Hmmmmmm.

Yeah that's what I thought. It's probably a stable time loop thing.
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life.Anyone else see the Dramatic Irony of Bishop helping cure someone who'll one day try to kill him? An event which also involved a techno-virus.

I do now.
Also, Comics Madelyne is watching this episode and nodding in approval.
While booing Scott every time he comes on screen.
The writers outright refusing to reveal when the switch happened puts a crazy spin on it. We have no idea how long the real Jean was captive. I have to admit, I didn't think they'd do it, but there you go.
One Strip! One Strip! For all we know, it could have been the whole original series…
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire. The absolute earliest it could have happened was when he first kidnapped her and Scott in the second season. The latest was during the fourth season four part finale, Beyond Good and Evil as he did kidnap her again there, but as part of Apocalypse's plan. It's possible that he made the switch before giving the clone to Apocalypse, and since they were identical anyway, Poccy let it slide since it didn't affect his plan at all.

One Strip! One Strip! So life death is Shadow king right? If their adapting in order than Miur island saga is next. His one is next and should be their.
I hope if so Farouk gets a more comixc accurate as that's scary as fuck
I think X force is last and Tolerance is extinction. And showing master mold and Nimrod combining to become Bastion

"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."I really love how they keep changing the opening, choosing different moments from the original cartoon but also removing Storm's introduction.
I thought this was the weakest episode still enjoyable, visually it was top notch but it feels like it was rushed I think maybe it should have been a two parter to let every thing sink in a bit.
I am a little surprised they resolved the clone plot so quickly.
Maybe there's hope for an Immortal Hulk adaptation.
"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"Are we already seeing the downsides of ten episode seasons?
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.I saw the downside long before this show premiered.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire. In fairness Inferno was an entire event that resolved 3 series worth of plotlines.
Its not something you can adapt without a lot of compression to make it watchable for the specific context you're adapting it to.
And we already know this show is willing to have multiple part episodes with Life Death part 1 listed as episode 4 while part 2 will be episode 6. So looks to be a choice they simply made for Inferno.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I think they handled it good enough for half hour they did have. Sure Madeline realising she is clone and rescuing Nathan would work as two episodes, esspecaly as it would give everybody’s reaction to reveal more time to breathe, but they delivered everything that was important and they do have only ten episodes so I can forgive them little craming.
Same here, bring back 20 episode seasons!
Granted, original series also has short seasons.

They decided to keep it open-ended in this series since both of them share the exact same memories and the only memory that's exlusively Madelyne's is her pregnancy and giving birth to Nathan.
