It's saying something that Magneto wasn't even the worst example of that in the movies.
When it was revealed Magneto inherited Xavier’s estate, I almost expected him to evict the X-Men so he could keep the mansion for himself
Magneto enjoys starting drama with the X-Men and having people around to witness his actions too much to do that.
Plus he does respect them somewhat. He always has....accept in maybe the Ultimate Universe.
One Strip! One Strip!I can picture Magneto using the fact he owns the mansion to stir up drama or get the X-Men in line whenever they annoy him. "Y'know I could legally kick you all out..."
Magneto likes to act high and mighty, but he's definitely a bit of a drama queen beneath that act.
If I had to guess, part of Xavier’s will is probably a condition that Magneto can’t kick X Men out if he wants to keep everything. Still, they probably don’t know that so it would be funny to have Magneto threaten to kick them out, only to turn out he was bluffing.

@That clip last page.
Finally, after years of Cyclops being perceived as the stuck up loser to Wolverine's cool bad boy thanks to Singer's movies, we get a good adaptation.
Also, the Daily Bugle, eh? I forgot that X-Men Animated is totally in the same universe as Spider-Man the Animated Series. I wonder if one day they'll try to continue that.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Variety says the show has reached 4 Million views in the first five days. https://variety.com/2024/tv/news/x-men-97-ratings-viewers-1235951732/
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Just like the Fox Kids version had 3 million viewers!
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here. While I did enjoy the first two episodes, I gotta say, I wasn't expecting it to be as In Medias Res as it was. Granted, from the trailer, some of it would have to be, I was at least expecting the first episode to show how Bishop got back this time and finally joined the X-Men and Morph adopting the blank face look, not have those having already happened.
Also, I wasn't expecting them to adapt the "Storm gets depowered" arc, but so far, I'm impressed with the show.
Troper Wall — DeviantArtFour Million in five days IS a good number, yes? They say it’s ahead of the Proud Family reboot and that’s been renewed twice.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Found this clip of Wolverine fighting a robot Cyclops while the latter's wedding with Jean happens
Is it messed up it that while Cyclops and Jean's wedding are getting married, Wolverine fights a robot duplicate of Cyclops while screaming "You can't have her?" and then says "I feel better now" after tearing it apart?
Feels like Wolverine should grow up and accept that the woman he likes chose to be with another man.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."If I'm not mistaken, Scott and Jean never actually marry. The priest was fake.
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.I mean, this may be too pedantic for television, but does that matter? As long as their paperwork was filed properly, they're married. The ceremony is just that. Ceremony.

I like how they kept Morph as one of the few people Wolverene considers a good friend.
I've forgotten what an outright asshole Wolverene could be.
Oh, grow up Logan.
Man, badass Cyclops, and The Daily Bugle? This show seems to have it all.

Morph has no sense of caution.
Well, unless Mr Sinister is about, that creep did a real number on them.
Morph has known Logan a long time....and has already kinda died.
Which mean the even the thing Wolverine is best at means nothing to him.
One Strip! One Strip!Them. Their pronouns are they/them.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Whoops. Forgot about that.
As I said, they have nothing to fear from Hairy Simp.
I do want to go on to say that, while a lot of Logan's behaviour is less acceptable now, I'd rather see them just stop and move on from that rather than....you know....destroy him.
Because there can be other things about him they can focus on. Yes, dump the unhealthy obsession with Jean, but don't go 100% Punisher on him and completely burn the character to the ground salt what's left and then piss on that.
Again, I don't want this to become some kind of precedent where characters get buried rather than fixed.
One Strip! One Strip! They won't do that to Wolverine, he's too popular for that. Most likely they'll just bury his worst behaviours or pretend it's fine.
If Magneto was in his early teens when he was sent to the camps, he'd be in his mid sixties in 97. Sure he looks good for his age but that can be handwaved as his powers slowing down his aging or just Magneto keeping himself in good shape, it's nowhere near as egregious as the movies.
