TVTropes and the Bacon Soup

This is basically Monty Python and the Holy Grail, but with TV Tropes.

Legend tells of a mystical recipe, a recipe for Bacon Soup.

This form of soup gives whoever drinks it strange powers, powers that are dangerous when put into the wrong hands.

So I, Carl Wilkovich, famous adventurer, plan to find it!

I have wandered the forest for a day, and have already found a village.

Who shall join me on my quest?

Bacon Soup was made by a culinary master, who wanted to join the Bacon bandwagon.

However, such a combination of food gave the person who drank it unspeakable powers, powers beyond human physics.

The only paper with the recipe was locked away in a secret location, never to be seen again.

My name is Comet, and I came to see what all the fuss was about.

For my skills, I can fly, although not for very long, and I can also make weapons with ordinary stones. The last one may not be impressive, but it's going to be useful.
