It doesn't seem like there's a thread dedicated to this already, so here goes.

Alter is a Youtube channel dedicated to showing horror short films. While many of the films do have supernatural elements, the horror skews more towards the psychological. The demons in Alter horror shorts tend to be inner demons as opposed to actual demons.

The reason I decided to see if we should start a thread for this channel was because of one particular vid on the channel. It was that good.

There's a supernatural element in play, but the real horror comes from painfully real grief and being unable to move on with life after loss.

"Other Side of the Box"

Love this short for the horror elements and it's pretty scare ending, when the protagonist got cornered by, what is essentially "Weeping Angels" like creatures, on both sides and every time he looks at one, the others move, putting him in an inescapable situation.

Although he was kinda dumb for following what is clearly a creature, mimicking his wife's voice to the basement. Like, if the house is full of water and shit clearly happened there, when you hear your wife, cheerfully say "what's up" from the basement, you would kinda put together that you shouldn't go there.
