I've read very little fanfic, but I'd like to dip my toe in and listen to what people consider the very best. Part of my coming late to fanfics is that I have little time to sit and read. I do have more time to listen to audiobooks while driving or working outside, so I'd be up for an audio fanfic, if it's good.
So what audio fanfics do readers/listeners recommend? (If that's too broad, then I would lean toward fanfics based on books and older TV shows.)
Are all audio fanfics called podfics, or only those distributed as podcasts?
