On September 7, 2020, a draft in the TLP was created simply titled "Gay" as an attempt to pitch a trope about being gay to get around the dewicking of Badass Gay. While the TLP community initially provided reasonable explanations of why the draft was People Sit on Chairs, the draft acquired bombs at a rapid pace, and the draft devolved into a competition to acquire more bombs than the previous record-holder for most-bombed draft. This resulted in immature meme posting and using the draft as a sandbox for jokes, all while adding hundreds of unproductive comments. The mods found this behavior unprofessional, leading to a mass suspension of everybody who participated in the draft.
This is a thread to discuss the aftermath of the incident, analyze how it came about, how to refer to it on the wiki, and what it means for TLP standards and decorum in the future.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.
