A twelfth level intellect who can’t think of creative ways to use those powers to kill the Squad.

Maybe he should use his power to copy the Suicide Squad since they somehow keep kicking his ass?

That's going to be the 13th and final Brainiac boss fight. He noticed that all his multiversal forces got their asses handed to them by the Squad and decides to fight you by copying a random member of the Squad's data into himself and transforming into them.

Oh my God the Joker recruitment scene is so cringy

Joker shoots up a room nearly killing guards and Waller calls him an uncontrollable maniac already pissing her off....... which then leads her to smile and say "You fit in just right for the team" as everyone smiles and high fives each other.

HAVE YOU PEOPLE ALL LOST YOUR MINDS?!?! YOU JUST RECRUITED THE FUCKING JOKER TO THE TEAM?!?!

Confirmed, Waller is an objective idiot who has no business being in charge and should be immediately dismissed

The moment Joker walks into a room and just shoots a bunch of A.R.G.U.S. members is the moment that the Joker should be immediately turned into Swiss cheese.

Why does Waller think recruiting the Joker into the Squad is a good idea? Is she stupid?

Yes she is

They've pretty much given up any care on trying to justify the logistics of character recruitment and whether they should be a good fit.

Now its just "Joker is a bigtime villain, slap him on the villain team"

Careful Waller would see you as a useful member of the squad. You and your logic.

This is a funny thought but the way DC/WB constantly pushes the Squad, in a way they are their own version of Marvel's Inhuman push from a while back.

People are already meming and getting sick of the Squad.

God I miss that trainwreck of Marvel treating Inhumans like Roman Reigns.

I love that Captain Boomerang is generally more liked member of the squad today, despite being arguably the worst person in the team, while Harley Quinn is seemengly most disliked member of the team (as in people become slowly sick of seeing her constantly as the star), who is considered the most annoying presence there.

I heard that many people were already sick of Joker as well, despite him being still popular.

Also, i'm kinda curious as well if they will rush the ending, so that the game would have an ending, or the publishers and developers just abandon it midway through and gave it no resolution.

Abandoning it with no ending sounds more likely honestly.

So, somewhat out of discourse, but I heard people saying that DC as a franchise seems to be in a huge crisis, especially if compared to Marvel. It is true?

Well its not in the best place but I wouldn't say they haven't had successes.

My Adventures with Superman has high viewings, Harley Quinn is going on its second season, The Batman by Reeves did well as well as the Peacemaker show. They are having troubles but they've been at this for a while now.

Their video-game department is in a crisis though especially compared to Marvel. While Marvel has a bunch of confirmed projects in the works (Iron Man, Wolverine, Rise of Hydra, Blade, a Black Panther solo game), the only game confirmed for DC currently is Wonder Woman.

And it doesn't seem that Warner Bros are gonna be working on many single player DC games, or single player games in general, after the failure of this one. They said as such i remember.

More like trying to find itself. The Gunn reboot DCU is promicing, Superman and Harley have cartoons. Its just their games that have been floundering.

Which is really weird, because this isn't a single-player game.

It really defies logic. Their biggest money-maker of the last year was Hogwarts Legacy, a single player RPG. Their biggest flop of the last year was Suicide Squad, a multiplayer live-service grind fest.

Faced with those facts WB decide to ... double down on the one that flopped?

The idea of managing to break into that Fortnite market is too tempting for Warner Bros.

I guess this means we won't see a sequel to Hogwarts Legacy.

x9 so can someone tell me just how much Marvel tried to hype up the Inhumans and how it affected the Marvel Universe?

Basically, as soon as Clash of the Clans existed and microtransactions games, corporate people started wondering why story based single player games existed.

"Why waste time on anything but maximum profit and dumbest down?"

Hardly an expert on the subject, but: with Disney and Fox in a pissing contest over the X-Men movie rights, Perlmutter did everything in his power to downplay the X-Men and position the Inhumans as effectively their replacement. They wanted an Inhumans movie in the MCU, which eventually changed into a truly terrible TV show. They got crossover comics where the Inhumans were positioned as the good guys even though their cause was in no way sympathetic. Eventually they had to finally admit that people don't want the Inhumans. And then Disney bought Fox, thus getting the X-Men movie rights back and making the whole thing a giant waste of time.

It got particularly bad when it turned out that the Terragenesis Cloud that activates Inhuman powers either fatally poisons or sterilizes mutants (you know, Marvel's stand in for persecuted minorities) and the Royal family was more pissy about their clouds than all the deaths they were causing.

Being an Inhuman also became the go to origin for new characters, which meant that they were everywhere.
