Alright we got the cutscenes uploaded.
There's basically only 3 cutscenes total. Joker's animated introduction, the start of Braniac's bossfight, and the ending for the story where Joker is recruited.
They didn't even change Brainiac's design, it's the same exact model. And he turns to Green Lantern for the boss fight and when finished he's then killed off without any fanfare.
Also Harley shows no attraction to nu-Joker. She is firmly over him here.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."How are they going to have 13 Brainiac boss fights when there were only four Justice League fights? Are you going to fight each one three times and then the last Brainiac decides to actually do something different?
They're not seriously planning to have players fight the same character as a final boss 13 times total, right?
Because even long running game franchises with a consistent Big Bad like Super Mario didn't reuse said Big Bad as the Final Boss in all of their games.
Ugh, I miss when Anthem was considered the bottom of the looter-shooter barrel. Heck, I miss when Redfall was that.

Disgusted, but not surprisedI'm amused that these Brainiacs who have apparently destroyed their own worlds keep losing to the Suicide Squad.
Like, wow, the plot armor is real if the Squad can take down 13 Brainiacs who won. So much for being twelfth level intellects.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. If they have to bring Joker back, couldn't they at least make it a bit different by having it be Martha Wayne as Joker? Get Grey DeLisle back (she was great for the 50 seconds she played the role in Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox). Plus, there could be some very, very dark comedy about the fact that she went mad over Bruce dying, and this Squad killed adult Bruce. And, you could have some romantic undertones (that don't go anywhere because Harley's trying to get over Joker) to establish she's bi without having to...even consider Ivy.
Or any other version of the character that is still Joker at the core yet also fairly different. Because, even though he seems to be partly based off the controversial Leto Joker, this Joker doesn't actually seem that different to the previous Arkham Joker. I mean, couldn't they at least have, for example, a more Heath Ledger sort of Joker? At least that would be someone a bit different to play off the squad.
I mean, isn't part of the fun of multiverse stories seeing very different versions of the same characters?

I don't mind joker being in this as he's DC's most popular villain so ot course would be a money maker. But what's up with the lack of stuff happening. Theres zero story progression here.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."It's a live service. They can only progress the plot in VERY small increments to keep the story going so you'll buy more characters.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Problem is game's barely selling to warrent further seasons.
Mileena MadnessYeah, I'm very curious if they are just going to not give an ending because they have no money, or are just going to rush things and give a hasty ending.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult..... That's not even how live services are suposed to work?
Genshin has way bigger updates than this?
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Well yeah, this isn't exactly a good live service as much of an oxymoron as that is
They severely underestimated how much content they needed with each update.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. It makes sense to use the Joker, but at the same time it's also a shame because it would have been fun to use the multiverse aspect to explore some more obscure DC heroes and villains. It would have also kept with the spirit of the Suicide Squad which is all about using lesser known characters because there isn't as much restrain on how authors can write them.
For example, if they needed an anti-villain/anti-hero clown, they could have used the Teen Titans version of Duela Dent (the cool version not the edgy flashpoint one). It's the same thing with the DLC Freeze. I know they are a popular character, but DC has huge selection of cool ice characters that do not get nearly as much promotion.
Now I'm thinking of a Joker Team-Up game where you play as Earth 3's Red Hood (Token Good Teammate), Ledger-styled Joker (weak and slow but excels setting traps and fighting in close distances with knives), the Silver Age Joker (his gimmick is he has the most out there wacky gadgets and the zany attitude to go with it, natch), The Batman-rasta Joker (acrobat who fights bare handed and bare footed), Elseworlds Pirate Joker with his sword (because why not), 'regular' Joker (Jack of All Stats), Titan Joker (strong brute who tanks a lot of damage but is a Mighty Glacier to compensate for it) and Martha Wayne Joker (possibly Thrillkiller Joker too if another female is needed).

That's what this game should have done instead of just shoe-horning another Arkham-style Joker (and without the talents of Troy Baker or, especially, Mark Hamill to really embody him, though the new guy does sound pretty decent to be fair). The Joker is a character with so many different varieties and incarnations over the years, so if you absolutely must shoe-horn him in (and it is understandable as he's good for marketing), why don't you be a bit more creative and use a different version.
Also that game you came up with sounds really cool.
Is he really the Leto Joker unless the voice actor sent a rat to Tara Strong?

This Joker doesn't even particularly feel like a variant of an Arkham verse Joker. He comes off as a shitty Leto pretty boy Joker.
He even twerks. They clearly wanted him to be lady eye candy.
Arkham verse Joker defined himself through his opposition and need for Batman. You can't have Arkham verse Joker without him. Meanwhile, Leto Joker at least in Suicide Squad didn't really go out of his way to fight Bats, he was more focused on Harley.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I think including the batmobile would've made for a more dynamic Batman boss fight.
If it had less limiting gameplay thr first phase has the squad having to avoid it and wait for openings to take it out, (pehaps Boomerang even keeping pace with it at one point to plant a bomn).
The second phase starts with Batman ejecting from the Batmobile, sending it flying at King Shark and takin their heaviest hitter out of the fight keeping it to just the normals, (Boomerang having run off when Bats caught his only boomerang), ultimately resulting in a breakdown where he breaks Deadshots arms and starts to advance on Quinn, saying none of them have the skills to match him, queue one of the batfamily showing up, and us doing one of those duel takedown fights form Arkham Knight.
Fanfiction, I know but I like it.
There's so much they could have done differently.
Almost anything would have been better.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters. Its amazing how the game manages to keep sinking beyond people's already low expectations.
I thought the idea of of reusing Brainiac several times was already kind of dumb but them reusing the exact same design to rub in the repetitive-ness was wild.

The First man(*sees Joker*) I sleep.
Or Starro. If this is DC film synergy why not use good stuff?
Mileena MadnessThis game is synergy from an era everyone is trying to bury, so...
Wake me up at your own risk.Even in armageddon, Luthor remains un-humbled.

So, Brainiac's boss fights all consist in turning in various members of the Justice League and that's it?
"We live in a society" - Winston Churchill, probably
Theoretically it could work by having each Brainiac be different with a unique theme each like say a Brainiac invading a Blackest Night world or a Brainiac invading the Gotham by Gaslight world.
Of course that would require creating new designs and enemies which we now know they aren't or can't do.
