I'm a relatively new fan to Kamen Rider, and I've been dealing with some accessibility issues in the way some of the pages are written. In particular, Memetic Mutation, Mythology Gags, Trivia, and other references to other entries in the franchise besides the one I'm reading about seem to assume the reader will know what they're talking about. Lots of quotes are in Japanese with no translation unless you go to the other page and hunt down that line. As is mentioned in Too Long; Didn't Dub, a fan should not have to do outside homework to understand what they are reading/watching.
I do not think I am the only person who feels this way. I've experienced similar situations in real life, like at Kamen Rider fan panels at conventions. It gives the air that the fandom is exclusive and requires lots of knowledge of prior media when many are only fans of one specific series. I don't want a major overhaul. I just want better explanations of some of the in-jokes when they're referenced on pages for other entries in the franchise.
There are probably other issues that can be addressed while working on this, like gushing and non-examples. In at least one case, I had to remove an entry because a fan reaction was listed as a Mythology Gag. Since it was the fans' reacting to what happened rather than what happened in the show itself, and wasn't really framed as an intentional call-back. It would be helpful if some more casual fans could maybe review and discuss specific changes that would be helpful to making the entries more readable.
