I don't get why everyone on this site is labeling the prairie dog Gravel a Stone Wall. She might be the Executor with the highest DEF stat, sure, but there is someone that fits the term more than her, Bison, in fact almost every Protector is like this, but Bison sticks out from the rest of the Protectors in that his massive bias towards defense over offense hurts his viability.

I don't even use Gravel at all since I'd just rather use Projekt Red over her as an Executor subclass Operator — she's not even someone I particularly like as a character. That's why I see this label on Gravel as questionable.

It's more that she's one of the most durable Specialists, with only the Dollkeepers and especially the Abyssal Hunters being tougher.

That's just an Overly Narrow Superlative in my opinion.

Also, the Dollkeeper Abyssal Hunter, Specter the Unchained, feels more like a Lightning Bruiser with a slight bias towards defense, she still hits like a truck and has moderately fast attacking speed despite her durability as the Dollkeeper Abyssal Hunter.

Wow, Gravel is really a relic of a different time. The Operator ecosystem seems much different as of this year.

Wait, why are we comparing Gravel, an FRD with an 18-second redeploy time and a DP cost of 10 max and whose job is to eat giant hits like Sarkaz Lancers and Faust crossbow bolts, with Bison, a Defender who costs twice as much, redeploys three times slower, and also can't survive those hits? They're very different use cases.

If it's about trope usage then it's whatever, I suppose, plenty of trope entries aren't accurate.

Nah, she is definitely a Stone Wall.

When her shield is up, she tanks anything until its gone. Anything. And since she is fast-redeploy, you can dump that wall over and over again to tank anything you don't want to hit your vital operators in the field.

If that doesn't make her a wall then I don't know what does.

Gravel has to be the weirdest Stone Wall in the history of gaming that makes Shuckle look ordinary.

At S2M3 with a level 3 module, Gravel has over 4000 hp worth of barrier when deployed, she can straight-up tank those Londinium artillery cannons in Chapter 10 and in Operation Ashring.

Actually, how likely will we get a Gravel Defender alt? We haven't had a Kazimierz event in quite a while and we could use one.

She's plenty fine as she is, the one who needs an upgrade is Cardigan, she really could use that Fast-Redeploy Defender alt :V

...well. I can tell I am like one of the only people that never uses her and just gravitated towards Projekt Red (or other Executors like Phantom) instead.

x5, Gravel at e1-max sl7 can eat Londinium cannon and still be standing if it hits her within ~4 seconds of her deployment

I only just now realized that Gravel and Saint Georgios have surprisingly lot in common gameplay-wise than I first realized.

Both are "low-rank" stone walls. Both are used to tank insane amounts of damage and got the skills to survive it. Both are also often used to tank a ton of damage and then retreat from the battlefield to let the others fight solo for full advantage.

Wonder how well those two would get along if they ever met and discussed their battles between each other.
