Welcome to HGS: Another Side Another Story. It is a roleplay spinoff for the Hunger Games Simulator forum game, akin to both the RP's in the Roleplaying section as well as the ITTs in Forum Games. It tells the story of the Hunger Games in the Arena of Panem, the nominators who sent the tributes, the tributes themselves both in and out of the Arena or even other people relevant to the Games. In addition, it also tells their stories beyond the Arena.
You can jump right in with any character, like your nominator self, your tributes, etc. The structure of this RP will be open-world. Don't worry about not being skilled/experienced enough or being new to RP'ing. Finally, ASAS accepts any skill level or RP style. Other than these, there are some important rules to note, which are:
- No godmodding will be allowed or tolerated here. The offending player will be given punishment depending on the severity.
- Please communicate anything important you plan on another player with the said player first. Don't just execute it without their consent.
- Don't be rude to other players, both out and in-universe. This extends to RP offenses like railroading, guilt-tripping, coercing, or other forms of forcing them.
- This RP is related to the Hunger Games Simulation:Beyond the Possibilities forum game. Thus it will have events based from that game, including the tributes. This means if you want to RP as tributes, please nominate them officially on the thread first, with misses not being counted. This has to be done after an incident with a player who hasn't joined the game itself yet.
- Since this RP is Loose Canon in relation to the main HGS thread, the host's interpretation of events isn't necessarily 100% canon. Every player has the right to deviate from what the host says and go with their own interpretations. If multiple players have their tributes involved in the same event(s), please communicate with each other so that you're on the same page regarding how you see them.
- This RP chronicles the lives of the nominators and their tributes behind the scenes. While dark plots are acceptable, the overall tone of the RP should be light-hearted and comedic. This RP is not a Cosmic Horror Story or action story about defeating evil. It is a Slice of Life comedy with some adventure to it, first and foremost. Our previous RP, Convergence, is not representative of the intended tone, and the grimdark tone of that RP is one of the main reasons it was retooled.
- Nominators and tributes alike can transform into Pokemon whenever they enter a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon World (but they can bypass this with certain items/methods or shapeshifting) or via other means outside it such as a season event, Transformation Trinkets, or shapeshifting. The players are free to choose the Pokéforms that best suit their characters and even give them color schemes outside the standard and Shiny colors, but there is a hard rule for this. If you want your character's Pokéform to be a Legendary, Mythical, or Ultra Beast, please ask the RP mods for approval. Outside the Arena, these Pokéforms are still OP, but we want to give leeway for tributes who theoretically can have them such as deities.

Detective Gamechanger's Base
A sharp-dressed man in a green suit and yellow tie is standing by the entrance of the base. He is of average height and has whitish skin, though still a bit darker. He is Billy, one of the nominators and the organizer of the party.
Indeed, after the nominators' returned and settled their problems, they decide to have fun with a party. Billy also sent invites for all the other nominators out there, as well as basically anyone else, including tributes, non associated parties, interested nominators who haven't participate yet, or even those who just wants to hang out.
The place itself in the base is refurbished for party purposes. Fancy chairs and tables are set everywhere for people to relax, as well as put food and other objects for the latter. There's also various collections showcased, including those belonging to the Detective, like his classic cars. Various themes to the base are set too, including detective noir as GC would have preferred.
Billy is now awaiting for other guests to arrive. He is also ready to give them a pleasant surprise during the party pertaining to his nation.

The Arena
The Bloodbath
Ririno sharpens her knife as she prepares for her first kill. She spots Carbon Dog and uses all her power to slash him on the neck, immediately killing him. She then wonders why the other tributes didn't do the same as her.Meanwhile, Casu Martzu was bored and wanted another fix of alcohol, so she walked around, looking for a bar, leaving trails of maggots.
Day 1
Casu Martzu: It was nice meeting you. Here, my phone number; text me when you get home.[Some time later]
Casu Martzu: Huh, nothing. Guess she's homeless.
Houkago Tea Time: Hmph! We can easily beat you up, Ririno!
Ririno: Now, now. Don't get too cocky. Take this!
[She effortlessly slashes one of the girls in the band.]
The rest of Houkago Tea Time: AAAAAAH! MOMMA!
[Ririno slashes through the rest, making her figurative kill count 6.]
Spectators Room
Is there even a Spectators Room or some equivalent to it in the actual Hunger Games? If no, I'll change it to something else.The Bloodbath
An altered Skykid named Nora
◊, who has navy blue skin; long, white, tied-up hair; a light orange sweater with orange zigzags, an ochre strip, and a yellow diamond in the middle; and jeans, lounges around in the Spectators Room, watching as the carnage unfolds in the Arena. When suddenly, Casu Martzu walks into the room, looking for more wine to drink.
Nora: WHAT THE– Casu Martzu, what are you doing here?!
Casu Martzu: Do you know where they store the wine?
Nora: As if! I don't have a mouth, and I know you're too young to drink!
Casu Martzu: Ugh, whatever. I'll go somewhere else. [She walks away, leaving another trail of maggots.]
Nora goes back to watching the Arena, then they notice that there are maggots all over the Arena floor. And so is the room that they're in. This freaks out all the other tributes in the Arena, and all other nominators who happens to be in the Spectators Room. Nora makes quick work of the maggots in the Spectators Room by using their candle and a bottle of deodorant they found laying around to burn them into ash. They all watch as the maggot scream and the viscera gets all over them. This process takes an hour to finish. Everyone in the room screams as they try to wash off the maggot goo on their faces.
However, Nora can't do anything about the maggots in the Arena, so the other tributes sometimes hop to prevent the maggots from getting all over their bodies. The Peacemakers get rid of the maggots before Day 1, so everything goes back to normal. Casu Martzu really was everywhere.
I'm just a psycho, babe! Come and go out my mind. I didn't lose it, babe! There wasn't much to find.

The Science Center, Safety Shelter, Night 1
While Ally introduces herself to Nozomi's family and awaits permission from her to talk to her while 6k1 tends to the other "urgent" matter, Rua watches the season for them and sees several other nominators forcing Max into becoming a Gamemaker. Rua checks the crowd for Data 6k1, but thankfully, she wasn't forcibly summoned from the Cloning Capsule this time.
Underground Bunker
"Ya mean 'slayyyyy the runway'?" says Bezier, trying to put on his best RuPony expression.
"I told you you've got style!" says Star as she smiles smugly at him.
"But I told you that the canvas is my true calling! It's in my cutie mark!"
"But it doesn't have to be your only talent, Bez!" says Power.
"Of course! It's just that..."
But just then, Miranda, Trial, and Heart return from their call with Justice.
"Pow-Pow, we just called your grandpa, and he's doing alr—"
"Bezier, why are you wearing a skirt?"
The light blue stallion cowers and folds his ears. "I-I can explain!"
"Hey, I wasn't judging you! I was just surprised, that's all!"
"You probably should've asked that less forcefully, dear," says Heart.

Once Applejack recovered Bale approached to help her up.
Bale: Good to see you're fine. Yeah, you were under some kind of mind control.
Then Scipion's attacked caused a huge rain of glass to happen, forcing everyone to stay careful or else be sliced up by the glass.
Bale: Hey Scipion, watch out for us!
While Bale did dodge many shots, a few cut near his face and he almost had some go through his throat which unnerved him for a split second.
Jet Room
With Discord trying an attack, Rouki had prepared a counter but then saw it wouldn't be too necessary as he was downed by the attacks of the others.
Rouki: My turn.
The Giga Battle Nizer then glew and he rushed to strike at Discord with it. Kirby themself tried to use a star bullet attack using anything they could inhale to make the projectile.
Looniversity Room
As Twlight fired her petrification beam, the Gems moved in to help. They tried to subdue the alicorn without harming her much, with Pearl utilizing a spear throw near the pony to disorient her while Garnet attempted to fire her gauntlets to knock her aside, also being careful not to get hit by her beam just in case it could be fatal.
"Bingo! If two species hate each other, they will wipe each other out on their own."

By now, the two have sat down and are in the process of eating dinner. Swain eyes the burger in his hand curiously, before taking a bite. “This is surprisingly delicious. What was that in it? Bacon? I must try to get some. Anyways, as I was saying, there I was, lying on the Placidium floor at death’s door, when a raven landed to feed on me. As I stared into its eyes, I saw visions of evil strangling Noxus, of a black rose, a pale woman and the emperor she manipulated. That’s when I realized that this wasn’t a raven. It was something more, a demon. And it offered power. After being cast out of the army and branded a cripple, I began uncovering the secrets underneath the Immortal Bastion-that’s the imperial palace of Noxus- and began preparing for rebellion. Years later, restored by the demon, me and my allies stormed the palace and I killed the mad emperor Darkwill in front of all his court, and seized power. Now, I plan to unite the entire world under the Noxian flag. I welcome all who pledge their loyalty. Sacrifices are made, but all for the good of Noxus.” After he finished, Nomi could only stare back at him, their eyes wide with shock. So, uh, that explains why your left arm is weird looking, huh?” They chuckled nervously and began fidgeting in their chair. “No offense, Swain, but isn’t your plan kinda… wrong? It sounds like some of the world leaders that ruined Earth.” Swain chuckled to himself and leaned forward. “My dear Nomination, (this made Nomi gulp) these leaders of yours lacked vision. They lacked a drive. I have one. I foresee an entire world where everyone is proud to call themselves a Noxian. Where everyone pulls their weight in their own way. Only this, and nothing more.” After this, he resumed eating his burger. Nomi resumed eating theirs as well, and asked: “Well, I was born on this big ship called the Heliopause, but they were all so boring. When we got older, all we did was train, train, train. We basically couldn’t have fun, and everyone got so serious. There was this one time where this kid named Vace broke my friend Rex’s arm. I think the older kids told him to, but it was really scary. I was so glad when we landed cause I got to met new people who actually wanted to have fun! I was really happy to have left the ship.” Swain raised an eyebrow. “Breeding all of you to be soldiers? A child knowing only hate will confuse it for love. That kind of raising only backfires.” They continued eating and talking, and eventually finished their meals. After a bit, Nomi said, “Wow that was tasty! Earth food is really cool! I never had meat like that before! But how are gonna pay? All I have are kudos, but I don’t think they take that.” Swain smiled, got up from his chair and jumped. As he did so, two massive black wings sprouted from his shoulder blades and his eyes began glowing red. Customers began screaming and running around everywhere. “This is the kind of power you get from a demon!” he shouted over the commotion. Raising his left hand, red bolts blasted out and smashed through the wall. “Now let’s run before the authorities arrive, yes?!” Nodding their head, Nomi turned and ran through the door with Swain following suit. Ducking into an alleyway, Swain landed back on the ground, the wings disappearing and eyes reverting to normal, and he looked like nothing had happened. “What was that?! That was so cool! But also really scary. Wow!” “That wasn’t even my final form,” he said to Nomi dryly. The two then hid in the alleyway for a bit to catch their breath.

He sprayed the rag with the soapy water and began moving it towards Caedia's face with the intention to scrub that stuff off her face.

Timothy is still contemplating on his shark form that he doesn't even notice Duna checking out a book, only for a wild dog to eat it. He then sighs to himself.
Maybe I should call Maintenance to start rebuilding this place... he thinks. I don't know how long 6k1 will be staying at the Shelter, but I know she'll be returning here once this crisis is over...

"Y-Yeah..." says Bezier, "Power made me this 'cuz I like skirts better than macho costumes..."
"But you were fine with the other outfits!" says Trial.
"Yeah, but they looked like Pretty Boy clothes, so I liked 'em! Not saying that I didn't like the Dante costume, though, I still thank Ichi for it."
"Ah, I see..." Power's father nods.
"But he's right," says Miranda. "We're not going to judge you for what you wear."
Bezier sighs in relief. "Thanks... you have no idea how many times I had to explain to everycreature back in my Equestria that I'm just a feminine stallion, nothing more than that. Only my family and Vivi understood that crossdressing is simply something I wish I can do more often, but regardless, I'm still comfy in my own body..."
Meanwhile, Power catches up with the season and cringes at what seems to be the Nomi 6k1 knows torturing Aile and Beaker with an extremely painful spell. She doesn't know that this Nomi is actually an alt and the original isn't using VR like the "other" one, but Power immediately squees upon seeing them participate in ArtFight and play video games.
"I hope that accidental good luck charm Ranni casted on them lasts!"
"Heh, I knew there'd be someone else you and Bez can root for!" says Moon.

Do I require repeating my introduction? the Databot asks Nozomi. Because if so, good evening, I am Ally, caretaker of the Database and protector of TRP-6001's family. How can I be of assistance?
Meanwhile, 6k1 quietly escorts Juan, PV, Stacy, Kythring, and Jimmy to a smaller room and locks the door. She then sighs at them.
"Norton told me that he tried calling CAC again... but this time, he hung up on him right away."
"Wait... what?" asks Juan. "You don't think he was just too busy to say he was busy, and so he ended the call just like that... right?"
She shakes her head. "If he were legitimately busy with say... fighting those alien creatures out there, then Norton would've told me that it was a missed call instead. But even if he somehow had the time to say he was 'okay, but still busy'..."
The male DM then suddenly remembers what Bezier told him about Vivi's final hours.
"Oh god... I don't know what's worse... Vivi not telling anypony about her condition until it was too late, or CAC straight-up ignoring us, all the while we are fully aware of what's going on with him?"
6k1 stares at Juan listlessly. "I'd assure you not to worry about him since everyone else there is watching over him... but what if their efforts... our efforts... just aren't enough?"
She knows that the team won't be able to escape ZDR until the mission is over, so if CAC does the unthinkable, it will take some time until they can finally bring his body back to the Science Center to revive him, if they call her about it. But on the other hand, 6k1 knows that Steven has reviving tears, but would he be able to use them on him amidst all the dangers they're facing?

After calming themselves down, Swain and Nomi are now hanging around the alleyway, until Swain speaks up. “What do you suppose we do know? It’s already late, we have nowhere to go, and that’s not even taking the fact that the authorities may be hunting us into consideration.” Nomi thought about it for a while, before suggesting: “Maybe we could find a place? Like those things from the holovids, what were they? Hotels? Yeah! We could stay in a hotel!” Swain raised an eyebrow with interest, and responded: “Well, we can’t just walk into a hotel and expect to be given a room. We have no money. What do we do?” Nomi grinned a little. “We could distract whoever’s at the front desk, then steal the key! We could pretend to be related. You’re my stepdad, and my mom wanted us to spend more time together. Then, we could get in a big argument and then when they’re distracted, we take the key! Sound like a plan?” Swain smiled with amusement. “For a child as excitable as you are, that was quite thought out. I’m in”

Oh, uh...thanks. My name's... (The Chillet realizes that they were never given a name; their mother just called them "child". Seeing the list of words on the menu, they improvise a name on the spot.) Chili!

Um... (Chili is surprised that there aren't any meat-related options on the menu.) The...uh...just a Berry salad, I guess.

(The Espeon from earlier curiously peeks into the restaurant, with the equally curious Penny and Jenny following behind.) Watch it, dude, you don't want them to think you're stalking them. (Jenny says.)
Oh, of course, I was just curious since they aren't like any regional variant of a Pokémon I've seen before. (The Espeon says.)
I think they look like a Furret almost! (Penny says.)
Maybe so... (The Espeon says.) I sure would like to speak with them at some point just to be sure, though.

"Out of all the Jujutsu Kaisen characters, the girl Maki wiped the floor with did better than Gojo, Sukuna, and Toji."

Power gently and assuredly taps Ichi's arm. "Oh Ich, it's been a while since you last complained about your tributes!"
"Only because you skipped some of them while Bez is here," Star snarks.
"Still though," Power continues, "if I found someone else to root for this season, then why not you?"
But regardless of who Ichi cheers for this time, whether it's Ranni, Homer Iori, or someone else entirely, Power cringes at the first one sniping Data alt!Nomi during the Feast.
"Nooooo!" she cries out, "their good luck charm wore off!"
"Why did that witch double down on that failed bad luck curse!?" asks Moon.
Bezier then briefly glances at the TV and sees the season's end.
"Hey, why didn't you tell me about that quirky pink artist? I could've rooted for them, too!"
Power laughs nervously. "Sorry Bez, you were kinda busy explaining to my dad about your fashion tastes!"
"Hehe, I suppose so... but I'm glad you don't mind it either, Ichi."
The Science Center, Safety Shelter
"Y-Yeah..." says 6k1.
Juan thinks of asking her to call Bezier about the news, but he must be having so much fun at Ichi's... Instead, the male DM checks his phone for the season and sees that it's over already.
"So uh... next tributes?"
"I-I guess..."
They both return to the main room, and 6k1 asks Rua about the last season. The operator confirms that the DM missed her Unfezant and Wrapper's early deaths, and that the former fainted while using VR when Katniss hunted him for food.
"And is everything alright back there?" asks Rua.
"N-Not really... but the ZDR team should be able to handle it, among other things, d-d-don't worry..."
The operator shrugs. "Whatever that was about, try not to worry too much about it, especially if there's nothing much you can do about it."
"I know..."
"But anyway, who will you nominate this coming season?"
6k1 thinks about it for a moment and says, "The Red Death and a Bewilderbeast. See if one of our dragon specialists can tame the latter for its VR session."
"Are you sure?! Those beasts are almost the size of Godzilla!" says Juan.
"Don't worry," says Rua, "our staff can temporarily shrink it for that, while its data clone will be its actual size in the Arena."
"Ah, good to hear. We don't need any more structural damage to this institute already."
"I say..." says 6k1.
"But what about the Red Death? Isn't that the same one that Hiccup and Toothless slew?"
"Yes, but at least we don't have to revive it just to shrink it, too."
"Thank goodness for that."

Cassandra Beech watched as the season played out, and her ears and tail perked up upon seeing the ending. "Boss! We got another one!"
"Wow, really?" Nine-Tailed Cat looked over the results, then smiled. "Nice. Looks like Captain Someday lived up to the stories. And he even scored a kill, too."
"The pipe fox," grumbled Nought. "Of course. I'd rather it have been the other way around."
Cassandra framed a portrait of Jacob Holland in bronze, then hung it up on the wall of fame alongside Espeon, the Monk, both of the Survivor's pictures, and the Snow death counter. She then went to load up the cloning chambers.
"And to follow him up," the fennec said, "we've got the hunters who taught him everything he knows! The most renowned captain in all the seas, and the most loyal and well-equipped of first mates!"
With that, she pressed the start button, and two weathered sailors took form inside.
"Ah, yes, Captain Crow. The most legendary monster-slayer of all. Fearless, determined, skillful... and quite willing to sacrifice everything in dark deals for vengeance." Nought licked her lips. "This will certainly be entertaining. And I look forward to seeing what Sarah Sharpe does with those blades of hers."
"I thought they'd be to your taste," said Nine-Tailed Cat. "All right, Miss Beech, let's get them situated in the Arena."
"You got it, boss!" said Cassandra. As she led the captain and first mate out of the lab, she began chanting, "Captain Crow, he's our hero, he keeps the oceans clear..."
I like cute things. You gotta deal with it.

Cafe Sweetrhythm
After the events of Season 321 (in the reboot timeline).
"...It seems like this won't do." Rayne sighed quietly. As he watches through the desk, someone comes into the cafe. She looks like a black-haired girl of below-average height, adorned with black-colored armor with red accents, with a rose-shaped image in the chest piece.]]]
"Hi! Uh... Have we met before? ...oh, so this is the cafe where you work at!
"Welcome back. It just happened to be the at the time. As he changes the channel of the television, it shows the aftermath of Season 321. "I think I am starting to think that every time I nominate mixed-gender tribute pairs, they're cursed to die early, even if one of them is technically part of a group tribute."
"Aw..." The girl briefly nods down her head, before raising it back to looking in front of the cafe's representative. "Anyways, I think I found you a suggestion for someone who might make a good competitor to break your losing streak! I heard she's a purple-haired swordsman who seems cheerful and carefree! And she's not just like any other swordsman because her reflexes are so fast! ...Well, she defeated me and broke through my defenses like it's nothing..."]], the girl spoke with a spark of confidence and joy.
"Just like you... But I heard, that's at least what it seems in the outside, because underneath it there are rumors of her being actually an ill girl underneath the facade. Well, I could definitely adapt that. As for the second tribute... what else do you have in suggestion?"
"Hmm... I don't know, honestly! Maybe pick someone else who is just like her!"
"...well, I will try to find one..."
"Nice! Oh, by the way, I'll protect you and your cafe just in case. You can rely on my great defenses! Because I have this shield!", says the girl, who now holds a large shield. It is predominatly black, but with some red outlinings and a large red gem in the center.
"Much appreciated, thank you." Rayne then looks back to his computer and access the data to look up for the fellow that the girl has mentioned. "Yuuki, huh...?"

"Oh hey, I remember when the ones from Power's Equestria somehow escaped its Dream Realm in OT S177!" says 6k1. "I was worried that Luna and Celestia got corrupted (and again for the former), but I'm glad they were alright back home!"
"Good to hear. But were they a few of those 'independent villains' you talked about earlier?"
"Yep, but now I consider them as my tributes since I don't have to worry about them causing eternal night/daytime ever (again) thanks to data cloning. As for my biggest tribute ever," she says to PV, "I think it was the Cluster in OT S166. Yellow Diamond temporarily transferred it under the Arena back then, but now I also see it as my tribute because Steven successfully calmed it down to the point that it comforted him in return when he turned into Stevenzilla."
"I see... still, I hope he's doing alright in ZDR."
"Same..."
Rua then tells 6k1 that the colossal dragons have been successfully data cloned and briefly looks at Ally, who's busy talking with Nozomi.
"Anyway, we've got some time to kill before the season begins," says the operator. "Ally and I were talking about Nomi-Nomi a while ago, and I know that you might be wondering about them."
"Huh, really?"
"Yes, they were there last season, or they seemed to be there..."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, Ally said that you did your research about their home planet, right?"
"Ah yes, Nomi came from the most idealistic timeline when I nominated them for S314."
"I know, but the one last season? I'm sure you're wondering if they're the same one you nominated or are from another timeline."
"Wait, just like the Underground?" asks Juan.
"Yes," says 6k1, "there are possibly many more alternate versions of Vertumna than there, and just like Frisk, Sol experienced almost all of those timelines thanks to their equivalent of SAVING and RESETTING."
"Interesting..."
"But back to Nomi," says Rua, "do you want to call them about last season?"
"Yes, and I think my friends here would also like to talk with them. They're pretty cool!"
Just for clarification, 6k1 isn't calling the Nomi being played by J99908, but 'her' Nomi that I played as back in S314, but 6k1 won't know that yet until my next Shelter post.

A Hotel
After plenty of walking and searching, Swain and Nomi finally come across a very clean-looking hotel. “Ooh, this one looks pretty cool! Let’s try out our plan!” “Alright. But if this fails, it will be your fault.” The two walk in and through the lobby, before reaching the front desk. Before the concierge could greet them, Swain quickly said: “Hello, my good sir. Do you by chance have a room? Two separate beds, of course. My wife thought it would be nice if I took her child to spend some “quality time,” whatever that means. But I think we’ve made progress, isn’t that right, my dear?” He nudged Nomi a little with his hand, and Nomi, who was putting on their best “moody teen” face, began to speak. “I guess so, Swain.” They said the last word with as much bitterness as they could muster. Swain put on a pained smile, turned to Nomi, and said: “That’s not very fair, is it? I’d say we’ve bonded quite a bit. And please, call me “father.” I’m not a stranger anymore, am I?” Nomi looked up and Swain and began to shout. “Oh, why do you even try? I know you married mom ‘cause she’s rich! And you don’t even care about me! You just act like it so mom doesn’t get suspicious!” Nomi winked at him, and Swain gave a little smile in return. “Why of all the- how dare you believe that I have nothing less than genuine love for you mother! I didn’t expect you to immediately accept me, but to stoop this low…” Their arguing eventually caused a whole commotion in the lobby, and Nomi slipped through and reached the front desk, searching for a room key. Grabbing at random, they sneak back into the crowd and reached Swain. Discreetly presenting the key, they flash him a thumbs up and the two slip out towards the elevators. “I must say, that was some good acting on your part. My congratulations.” Nomi grinned at him. “Thanks! I just watch a lot of holovids. You know, you’re a pretty chill dude, even though you’re also an imperialist conqueror. I don’t agree with that. But still!” Swain raised an eyebrow in amusement, and offered his left hand in all its red, clawed, and feathered glory. Nomi hesitated a little, before offering out their hand, and the two fist bumped. “I’d say we’re making progress!” Nomi mused enthusiastically as they pressed the button for the elevator.

Corrupted Quarters
"Huh... r-really?" Applejack asks Bale and Kaidan. "But... where we go from... here?"
She then hobbles over to Rainbow Dash after Onox removes the latter's bracer and pulls her by the tail behind Kaidan's barrier.
"Ugh... what's going on...?" asks Dash after slowly being awoken from being dragged across the floor.
"Lurng shtury..." says Applejack with her mouth full.
Meanwhile, Lapis notices the air gem still lying around. She nods to Veena and grabs it, turning her entire body into clouds while her back gemstone floats behind her unchanged. She then flaps her airy wings hard enough to send a strong gust of wind towards Scipion's direction, hoping to extinguish him and knock the fire gem off his claws despite the effects of the debuffing field.
This feels weird, but this won't take long, I hope... she thinks.
On the other side, Rarity gets struck by the glass shards made by Scipion. They get wedged between the cracks on her stony body, so she doesn't let go of the earth gem yet. Suddenly, Veena comes crashing down on her with her water fists, and Rarity shrieks as she gets absorbed into one of them. Her bracer then short-circuits while she loses her telekinetic grip on the earth gem, turning her body back to normal but making the shards cut through her pelt. She then reflexively holds her breath and floats inside Veena's arm, so she has to set her down carefully before turning solid herself.
Teleporter Room
While Discord is still distracted, Garnet leaves Les to the others and goes over to Amethyst and Pinkie.
"Take her to the Warp right now!" she tells the former.
"Got it!" says the purple Gem as she carefully escorts the pink pony to the back of the room.
Garnet then gives a thumbs-up to the Cat Rookie as the latter yanks away Fluttershy's bracer with her grappling hook. The Gem fusion then carries the still-unconscious pegasus over her shoulder and follows Amethyst to the telepad. Peridot quickly steps off it as she and Pearl see them approach them.
"Is there anywhere outside where they can stay?" asks Garnet.
"Affirmative," says Peridot, "the scouts found a spaceship just around he—"
"Hurry up!" says Pearl as she grimaces at Discord being bombarded by the other heroes' attacks.
The tiny Gem looks ahead and cringes at her Perizoid accidentally Atomizing Knox as well.
"Geez, talk about overkill, huh?" says Amethyst.
"Yeeeeeeep..."
Peridot rushes towards it and holds out both her hands to try shutting it down with her metal powers. If she succeeds, then Knox would be at 75% his size while Discord at 50%. Despite the latter being almost transparent, his bracer somehow doesn't fall off on its own, but Knox should still be able to take it off.
Looniversity Classroom
Flash tries putting up his shield at Sabre and Tricky, but the former knocks it away while the latter rams him into one corner of the room. Sabre then destroys the bracer, and Flash struggles to keep himself from fainting for real.
"Wh-What's going on...?" he mutters.
Meanwhile, Spike cries as June and Aaron tell him to watch over Oscar and Lucian instead. He looks at the deep scratches he made on the trapdoor as he huddles June.
"But but... I... what did I do to them?"
While the other heroes save for Steven and Connie rush to restrain Twilight, Bismuth dives behind Aaron and somehow pushes CAC away from the beam ahead of Kirby, knocking away the former's light axe. She then tells Kirby to take care of Twilight, and then pins CAC to the floor by pressing hard on the palms of his hands to make sure he can't resummon it or conjure up another light weapon. She breathes heavily as she glares at him with Berserker Tears.
"CAC, listen to me! Seriously! I don't know if what Twilight said about your nightmare self was true, but I'll be blunt with ya... why did you lie to us about your trauma? Why did you still join this mission despite that? And why did you pretend to listen to us and then decide to believe that corrupted pony instead, YOU STUBBORN ROCK?!"
On the other side, Steven continues crying, not just for CAC, but for Bismuth as well.
"I'm sure he meant well the whole time, but please Bismuth, you're being too harsh on him!"
He then gets up to run towards them, but Connie holds him back.
"It's too dangerous!" she says. "You might get caught between those beams!"
"I know... but I need to mediate them in case CAC breaks out and tries it again!"
Connie sighs, but stays by Steven's side. "Then let me cover for you."
"Ah-Alright..."
She accompanies him to Bismuth and CAC while holding her sword in a defensive position.
Back with Twilight, she snorts at Aaron blocking her beam and pushes harder on it, making the center move quickly towards him. She doesn't get fazed by July's Scary Face, but she does get restrained by the others. But just before Elfin can reach for her bracer, AR Pearl and Garnet jab and punch Twilight, breaking her concentration and making Aaron's Hyper Beam overpower her spell. The center quickly moves towards her instead, about to critically injure, but nonfatally blast her away along with those right near her if they don't move out quickly.
As all this is happening, Mini-Cord 1 snaps his fingers to poof out of existence to avoid being hit by the beam and doesn't come back.

(As Barnes goes to get the food, Caedia feels the tickle on her face come back, and this time she feels it around her eyes. She waves her hand by it again.)
(Haban-Arrow look over toward Caedia, Haban caught Caedia's waving out of the corner of his eye.) ...Keheheh...KEHEHEHEH! (Haban suddenly starts laughing at Caedia while Arrow looks puzzled.)
Why do you laugh at me, Scovillian? Something is irritating my face and it is NOT funny! (Caedia huffs, crossing her arms.)
(Ed looks up.) ...Uh...Caedia, you...uh...got a little something on your...face? (He says awkwardly.)
(Sure enough, everyone looks to see that the might Sceptile warrior now has glasses seeming to magically appear around her eyes. Boo is trying his hardest not to laugh and is clearly failing to do so.)
What is on my face?! I demand to know!! (Caedia says indignantly.)

(Madeline, as always, is at the front of the restaurant (with little Josh on her shoulders) as the Chillet comes in.)
G'day, stranger. You look like you've come a long ways. (Madeline remarks. She seems completely unfazed by the strange creature that just walked in.) Just you?

Alright. We're not too busy now, so just c'mon right this way. (Madeline says, leading the Chillet further into the restaurant.)
