Another issue, I think the page quote is bad too.

It is neither about "filling the hole" nor "follow the theme", it's about making theme out of nowhere.

I'm going to replace the "particularly notable examples" with "official examples". Since There Is No Such Thing as Notability.

I think one way to word the definition would be to emphasize that there has to be a template which characters follow, and which can easily be applied to original characters. This would make the definition more distinct from just any Original Character.
