Title wick bug: Lack of punctuation

I have already clicked "Contact us" to report this, and it is still ongoing. I also tried posting this as a bug supposedly resulting from the new layout, but it went completely ignored. (For that matter, why is there not a bug report thread to begin with?)

For some reason, even though things like colons, commas, and exclamation marks do appear in work titles on the respective pages, they fail to appear when you wick to them.

For example, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island becomes Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island (no colon or apostrophe).

There's a bug report thread here, and this issue is already being worked on. Before complaining, please do the courtesy of looking.
