Definitely one f the best of its day.
How well it holds up now is hard to say. Its been over 30 years since the TV Show and OVAs, and the Project:EDEN movie

I ended up binging a decent amount of the original after Panty And Stocking ended and I found it quite good. The show holds up remarkably well because it’s about the two girls and their play off each other.
I wonder how many people realize that their outfits are references to the old joshi (female pro wrestling) tag team The Beauty Pair.
I personally prefer the original books and the anime over Dirty Pair Flash! and the American comics, to be honest. That being said, does anyone know where I could read (either online or in print) the manga based on the first novel?

Also, here's a piece of fan-art for the series I made: https://elsqiubbonator.deviantart.com/art/Anime-Cats-Extra-Mughi-and-the-Lovely-Angels-748167423

So, I was talking to a friend of mine the other day about this anime, and I show him this fan-art I found: https://www.deviantart.com/critterz11/art/Shlick-747253624 He said that it reminded him of a scene in an episode of the anime where Mughi does exactly that. But I've watched every episode, and can't find it. What's he talking about?
Haruka Takachiho's New Dirty Pair Novel Coming This Year
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.
Can't believe this series doesn't have a thread of its own yet, since it was one of the most popular sci-fi anime back in the day. It really did have everything fans seemed to want back then: cool space battles, attractive women, innuendo-filled humor, and a cheerful willingness to embrace the tropes it used. What ar you guys' thoughts on it?
