Would also help the thread if you posted the pilot short as well.

Wake me up at your own risk.I'm getting strong Adventure Time and Over The Garden Wall vibes from art style alone
It's not bad,but I feel like it's going to operate off the random sequels funny formula adventure time ran on
New theme music also a boxAnnnnnnnd is right. Although it's not as horrible as it looked like. An little cringe-worthy, at times. But it feels bland to me.
Answer no master, never the slave Carry your dreams down into the grave Every heart, like every soul, equal to breakI'm wondering what the point of the weekend-long marathon is. Why burn off all your episodes at one go? Feels like something CN would do to fulfill a contractual obligation (like when they show stuff a 6 am on Saturday mornings and then never again).
It could be no faith in the series, the second season is halfway made and needs to be greenlit, that they're trying to see how popular the show is...
Answer no master, never the slave Carry your dreams down into the grave Every heart, like every soul, equal to breakI liked this show. My favorite episode was probably the basketball one. I wouldn't mind if it got picked up for a second season. Oscar's a little whiny but Hedgehog is cool.
see my completed Tangled (Varian) fanfic collection! https://archiveofourown.org/works/24467056/chapters/59049532Been watching the show this week and I think it's pretty good, though I'm a little confused about what audience CN is trying to sell it to.
Like, don't get me wrong, this show is cute as all get-out, the characters are all very likable, and it got some chuckles out of me, but the plots and designs strike me as something intended for a show for 4-6 year-olds. Now, aiming for a younger audience makes sense if CN is trying to diversify the line-up, but if that was CN's plan, wouldn't it make more sense to play the show early in the morning (when little kid's are home) as opposed to 2:00 pm?
Like, i'd like to see this show succeed (it's adorable and charming), it's just that I'm worried that it won't reach it's audience because CN has decided to put it at an awkward time slot.

A thing I've noticed is that Julia Pott's earlier shorts have a drowning motif (i.e. "Belly"). Oscar tries to leave the camp underwater, and regrets this...
My Patreon. It is my life.I think this show is super cute! But I have a greater appetite for cute stuff than other people my age *shrugs*
I don't really like the art style, but in motion it is pleasant, the audio is nice and soft, and I like stories about summer camps, so it works for me.
Creator of Heroes of Thantopolis: http://heroesofthantopolis.com/I didn't get the feeling this cartoon was aimed at little kids. Its humor and dialogue feels like the typical 8-12 year old fare.
Hello, folks! With an important holiday coming to an end, and with summer coming around the corner; I'd figured that I'd let you in on an family tradition before the heat wave hits: The act of giving someone something that they want on Memorial Day.
In this case...Happy "Unnecessary Thread Day!"
With the formalities out of the way, CN is airing an new show within an week or two about an seemingly ordinary summer camp that's situated on an island. But it doesn't take long for the weirdness to set in. Like the headmistress is an witch, the marshmallows want to bite you, and the trees have become sentient (actually, this is normal). And I should also mention that the creator has worked on Adventure Time, which explains the weirdness.
So anyways, enjoy the thread.
