Opening.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportIt seems good enough, I wonder what the objection was.
I didn't really get it either.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Was indifferent towards it. Didn't like the panel layout, but not to the degree of downvoting it.
Though what level of "perviness" should the trope constitute? The guy's clearly making a pass at her (he's not a waiter, since his clothes differ from the uniform of one at the background), and while her reaction is grossly over-the top, it's not exactly unprovoked.
Spiral out, keep going.I think it's at least passable.
(Annoyed grunt)It doesn't seem like the trope to me. There is no perviness in it at all either direction, its just a scam which would be a different trope.
From her point of view it has to look like something pervy is going on, she jumps the gun, but its really not. IE say a guy gets thrown into a girl and ends up with a face full of something so she slaps him cause of it not even thinking 'he just got thrown into me, that was unavoidable from his perspective'

What is the source comic, anyhow?
Clock is set.
^^^ "Nothing pervy going on" is actually mentioned in the description as a common scenario. So you cannot hold that against the pic.
Not really. There needs to be something implied, assumed, accidental or otherwise.
If there is nothing what so ever like that, it is really a different trope.
The first paragraph would suggest otherwise.
It seems like there's pretty clearly "something assumed" in the image anywho.
(he/him) ANIMAL SPORTSLooks more like Accidental Pervert.
Agreed.
Well, as the description says: Closely related to — and generally intended to follow — the Accidental Pervert, the Unprovoked Pervert Payback is a violent maneuver in which an offended girl screams "PERVERT!" and pounds the crap out of a guy.
If that's the case, then the problem seems to be the title, which implies that no perviness was, accidental or otherwise, actually occurred.

If you read the first paragraph in its entirety, you will get the picture: A disproportionate reaction to an accidental or only imagined act of perviness. IMO, both OP and 15 depict a different flavor of the trope.

The clock's way late and I'm not seeing enough consensus for anything; locking up.
This image did not get enough consensus in the Image Suggestion thread. Other ideas?
