Feel that would require them to have a much better understanding of trauma than shown. Priestess and HEA jumped back into the fray after their close calls.
‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’So did GB, thinking about it.
I mean, going right back to killing goblins sorta worked for him, or so he tells himself, so he figures it'll work out for her.
He's not exactly a psychologist.

Often it's said that the best way to face your fears is to confront them, so I guess that's his school of thought.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.There’s degrees
Probably not the most healthiest coping mechanism
And GS, as we all know, is the epitome of healthy coping mechanisms.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets.Frankly, I think his training under Not!Gollum screwed him up worse than his childhood trauma did.
So yeah, not the most recommended course of action, though the only one he likely knows of.
Burglar (GS’s trainer) is an asshole, no doubt about it.
It is telling that others in the LN who suffer from goblin related trauma turn out better than GS did mostly because they got to meet people who actually wanted to help them move on.
Disgusted, but not surprisedGiving this a bump for a trope-related question. I haven't watched or read GS so I may be missing context, but I was looking at Face Full of Alien Wing-Wong and Mars Needs Women, and the latter is on GS's page. However, as I understand it, the former is the more correct trope since it directly relates to how the goblins reproduce whereas Mars Needs Women is about aliens finding human women attractive. Should this be changed, or does the series have context that justifies Mars Needs Women?

There’s a theory that the goblins are indeed aliens, but I do think they do not fit the spirit of the trope. Face Full OF Alien Wingwong is more accurate.

I'd say that Face Full of Alien Wing-Wong would, indeed, be more accurate, especially since goblins don't discriminate between the other female races such as dwarves, halflings, elves, and so forth; as long as it's a female, they'll breed them, unless Mars Needs Women applies to a female species alien to the race it's being applied to, not necessarily human women. Plus, has it right that Mars Needs Women involves attraction in the part of the alien towards women, and the goblins don't really display that.
The goblins resemble Dragon Age's darkspawn when it comes to breeding habits more than, say, how alien races view asari/humans in Mass Effect.

Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets.Would Womb Horror work instead ?
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."I think there may be overlap...FFOAWW covers the goblins' reproduction as a whole, Womb Horror might cover the fact that these females are actually giving birth to goblins.
I enjoyed the first episode of the second season, it was a nice reintroduction to the series and I thought the goblin POV flashback to the first episode was interesting. Wizard Boy is still an arse but I did like the later parts of this arc so will be looking forward to that.
Knowledge is Power, Guard it WellI forgot we had a thread haha. Yeah Rookie Wizard’s arc is fine. Not in a hurry to reexperience it.
It was the same; she insisted on going. But they should have insisted on her not going. Or just found a plan that didn't involve goblins threatening to rape her.
