You too can own p-chan!
Yuri fanfiction writer! http://www.fanfiction.net/~shanejayellI can imagine there will be lots of fanfiction of the ship. Elsa still trying to convince Karen to hang out IRL is kinda funny. Though considering the story M gave pretty sure that is part of the reason Karen would prefer not to have Elsa stay over or come visit her.
Pretty sure doesn't want to wake up tied to the bed.
"When I offered to make Norea my third back-up girlfriend she just glared at me and started throwing things at me.." Renee CostaThe thing is that for Karen, Elsa might let herself be tied up. But only for Karen.
Well, that was a pretty brutal ending.
Man, Elsa and Goushi relationship is messed up to say the least. I guess no matter how crazy you are, there's someone out there who's psychosis is compatible with yours.
That was a fun little series, and I wouldn't mind a second season.
Spoilers left in tact for those who haven't had a chance to watch the last episode yet.
I know I said upthread that Pito may have used black market connections to get a NervGear but on second thought she may not have needed to.
We know that those used by the players trapped in SAO were rounded up and destroyed (with Kirito calling in a favour to get his back, mostly for Yui's data). But Pito may have been able to keep on to her original. We know she was an SAO beta which meant she had early access, but missed the public launch for other reasons. Which means she would have had a NervGear. Its possible that hers might never have been confiscated since they assumed that all the beta testers were among the players trapped. Especially if she was using someone else to receive shipment for whatever reason.
Yeah, she probably got it under an alias.
Kikuoka himself was a beta tester. Failing to consider the possibility of other beta testers not playing on launch day would be grossly negligent. That said, they may not have been able to track down the beta testers who didn't play the official version, due to a lack of access to that information.
Who would have that information?
Maybe they did and she was just like "I freaked out upon hearing the news and smashed it and threw it away".
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobI've heard the LN is up to six volumes, 3 past the end of anime. Can anyone confirm?

Yuri fanfiction writer! http://www.fanfiction.net/~shanejayellI can't confirm the number, but there is indeed more arcs to cover which includes two more squad jams.
"When I offered to make Norea my third back-up girlfriend she just glared at me and started throwing things at me.." Renee CostaCurrently up to vol 7. Vol 7 is the start of SJ4 and introduced a new enemy for LLENN and co.

BTW, how old is Elsa supposed to be again? Because she looks 14, which makes all the weird things about her even weirder.
Don't think her official age has been listed, but I am going to assume she is older than she actually looks and is probably late teens to early twenties.
"When I offered to make Norea my third back-up girlfriend she just glared at me and started throwing things at me.." Renee CostaA 14 year that acts like an edgy little shit? Honestly, if anything, that normalizes her.
A rose by any other name would smell as sweet Unless I grew it. In that case, throw it in the trash.Assuming that she was at least 13 when she bought her Nerve Gear (which I admit is a questionable assumption), she would be at least 16-17 as of Squad Jam II.
M was following her when they were in college, she's considerably older now, it's just that Karen is too tall.
An interesting New Game animation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVLLUjedzTQWhat is weirder however is the age and weight of M. He went from an adult morbidly obese man to a slim man. That would take years. How old would be Elsa when that started?
(I think it doesn't make sense if we consider it actually takes time for someone to significantly lose weight; I suppose the authors considered you can go from morbidly obese to slim in a week if you just don't put sugar in your coffee for a few days and run for a few minutes).
Three years would be plenty of time, and the timeline fits. Elsa seems to have had her first concert the day SAO went live. Goushi stalked her for a few months after this before getting roped into her entourage. The world record for the longest water fast survived was a guy who went from 400 lbs to 180 lbs in just over a year by not eating the whole time.
I started watching Episode 1 last night at about 11 and just now finished the last episode.
I really really enjoyed that a lot.
Not going to lie. I really dig the idea of an Elsa/Karen relationship. Even if Karen's still unsure as of the ending of S1. For fairly understandable reasons.
Doujinshi about Elsa getting tied to a bed by Karen when?
It was also great how the anime made us of the fact it was a VR game to let them up the brutality near the end.
Maybe its the post final excitement talking, but I really want to go out and purchase the Light Novels now.
Impluse purchases are bad though, so I'll mull it over.
And maybe read them online. If it's too expensive.
Edit:Oh, only one is out. I might purchase it then to support the series.
Edit 2: and the translation is behind the end of the anime. Darn, gonna have to wait a while then. Or hope someone picks it up.

"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobI got the first book, it's quite decently written. It IS different from the anime, as far as it goes.
Yuri fanfiction writer! http://www.fanfiction.net/~shanejayellHow different? I heard that the anime covered volumes one through three and that it started by adapting the end of volume two before going back and adapting the rest in order.
I heard LLENN is more psycho in combat in the earlier fights.
Also: went shopping on the way to work. No luck at my local bookstores. The manga section had Volume 1 of the manga, but not even a single LN despite being in the online stores.
I was willing to pay an extra $5 to read it this week, but looks like I'll order it online for cheaper, but have to wait a week to ship from the UK.

"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobIIRC, the prologue is very different.
I loved how shocked the audience was when they saw that by the way.
