I'm pretty sure that the first one was conflicting opinions turned into an unjustifiable bitching fest, which explains why it's been cleaned and locked.
As for the second one, at least it has some truth to it
...Or that it probably didn't cause enough problems for the mod team yet.

If a trope devolves into "this is bad and you should feel bad for liking it", or the equivalent, then it's a problem that needs to be addressed. We don't have some kind of blanket rule saying that reciprocal YMMV tropes get treated identically. It's all about how much effort it takes to maintain them.
