I'm looking for a trope wherein a current generation of heroes meets/learns about their often suspiciously/ironically similar predecessors, but none seem to fit the bill (the order reborn, getting the gang back together, etc), examples I can think of include Final Fantasy XV, various Power Rangers incarnations, Scooby Doo Mystery Inc, Extreme Ghostbusters and Harry Potter.

Assuming this specific trope doesn't have a page, I'm also wondering how one goes about requesting its creation. Thanks, all :)
