You can use your Tropers page or the Sandbox namespace for any practice writing you want to do. We don't permit fully private wiki spaces as they could be too easily abused.
There is a "to-do list" feature available from your wiki Watchlist that you can use as a scratchpad.

This is just out of curiosity, and I realize now I should've put this in Frequently Asked Questions, to which I apologize immensely. Regardless, I really want to know if one is able to make a normal page except only viewable by themselves or a handful of others.
