Trying to Find a Show Growing Up

I had an old cartoon on VHS (probably 80s or early 90s) that suddenly popped into my head. All I remember is that a boy (I think) does to a dessert land with anthropomorphic desserts such as a lady with a cupcake dress, etc. There was a court of round-table knights that were knives and also a jackknife that wanted to be in said court. The princess gets kidnapped by the evil "knife" and escapes but they slow him down when he goes across a cream river and they whip it into a solid mass to run across to get the princess.

Thoughts?

EDIT: Found it once I remembered the jack knife part, it was Land of the Lost (1948)
