Do you have flat feet? If so, what causes it? Does it cause you any problems?

Personally, I have flat feet because my hamstrings are way too tight. I cannot do much running or sometimes even walking or standing for long periods of time without my feet/ankles really hurting. It's really annoying having to change arch supports from shoe to shoe, but my feet get so bad without them.

I used to plug my deviantart here but turns out the link was too long.

I was born with flat feet. I can't really run fast, but otherwise I'm normal.

It's been 3000 years…

I think I was born with it, but I was diagnosed in year 5 when I started going to a school that did a lot more sports than I was used to and my feet started getting really sore. sad

I got them flat feet. I run a lot and buy "motion control" shoes, or at least that's what they recommend for runners with flat feet. I end up wearing out the inside soles just under the arch to where I need to buy a new pair of running shoes within 4-5 months from the previous. It's a bit annoying. And yeah, I do feel it a lot around the ankles afterwards.
