In a perfect world where logistics aren't a concern, I too would support renaming Never Live It Down to The Fandom Never Forgets and having the other trope inherit the name. But would it be less work to soft-split Never Live It Down and sort the examples by in-universe and out-of-universe, instead of trying to split off a whole new trope?

If not for this anchor I'd be dancing between the stars. At least I can try to write better vampire stories than Twilight.

I’d be all for that if there’s a way to accomplish that without a) making the page a godawful mess, and b) making a nightmare of the ymmv/work page divide.

Trope Transplant is a thing, right?

We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenza

[up]It is, but it's also a lot of work.
