The Truly Adult Animation Thread? That's just a TV show recommendation thread. This thread is asking why animation is treated as a children's medium unlike in other parts of the world.
Um...this isnt kosher. Also not only the USA treats animation badly, its very etnocentric.

It started as one, but lately it's become a discussion of adult animation as a whole. It kind of had to, since it was established within the first few posts that there just aren't that many shows that meet the criteria I established.
x3 That question has been discussed in the Truly Adult Animation disscussion which not only talks about animation in general that exceeds beyond the South Park/Family Guy style of crude humor but also reflect upon the whole Animation Age Ghetto that plagues the American culture where there is just no in between for childrens cartoons and adult cartoons in that regard.
The better question here is: how long before the mods close this thread?
