They are different concepts. With The Scrappy, there's not a whole lot of disagreement among fans — at best, there's a minority who like the character and the issue isn't as divisive as with a Base-Breaking Character.

Both are on the lines of people hating a character, but how come The Scrappy isn't listed as an audience reaction like Base-Breaking Character? Also, why does the latter have no examples?
