If I may be so bold...
Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt (produced after TTGL) is considered another Trigger anime before they went on to actually be Trigger.
If you're going through Trigger chronologically and sexual humor doesn't gross you out (and you can swallow profanity like it's no big deal), you may want to see PSG before KLK.
(Just saying.)
I can usually swallow profanity and sexual humor doesn't bother too much. Though PSG doesn't really interest me, it feels like I already got a good idea what the show's like from the description, lots of innuendo, lots of dark humor, etc. Maybe I'll watch it after getting through some other stuff. I still say thank you for the recommendation.
This should probably go to the general Trigger thread.
Agreed; locking this one.
Currently going back and watching as many Studio Trigger shows as I can. I've heard a lot of praise given to this studio so it's about time I checked them out. Before I go into anime actually made by Trigger I decided to start out with one of the shows made by the same team while at Gainax. I've started out with Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, it's amazing. One of the things that stood out to me was the memorable character designs, every character has a unique body type and piece of clothing that go along well with their character, like Kamina's iconic cape and sunglasses, Simon's goggles, and Yoko's gun. There color schemes also play of each other, Simon and Kamina have a red and blue dynamic that also plays into Yoko's red and black. The characters are probably becoming some of my favorites in anime. Well I'm on episode 6 so far and I'm excited to keep watching.
After I'm done with Gurren Lagann I think I'm gonna watch Kill La Kill. I've heard it's another very good Trigger show.
