Right, so this trope seems to be seriously misused. I've seen it all over TV Tropes where it seems to be used to refer to any kind of paradox, and until I actually read the page itself I didn't realise it actually had a much more specific meaning of using a paradox as a sort of cyber-weapon. There are at least a dozen cases of Not An Example on the trope page, and probably many hundreds used incorrectly on pages for works. Overall it's gone a massive amount of Trope Decay.

So - change the definition to reflect how it is being used in practice - or go through an awful lot of example-removing?

Without evidence of misuse, we can't verify that it needs those changes.
