Suggestion > current
It's not bringing any audience reaction across though.
Clock is set.
I think the current has three things going for it. First — and admittedly the weakest — is that it's a weird space ape thing. It could easily be a Monster of the Week. The second is that it's a black and white image, which to me conveys that it's either from a long time ago or meant to be a parody of really old films. Y'know, those films where basically anything could be the monster of the movie. The third thing, and I think this is the strongest thing going for the current, is the monster's posturing. That looks either like a creature trying (and miserably failing) to be sneaky or to reach out and grab someone. Y'know, like a monster might.
I think it's good enough to keep as the page image, and I say that without ever having seen the film. I think it's reasonable to think this is supposed to be a scary creature, and it's clearly not scary — at least by today's standards.
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettyClock's up; locking for inactivity/lack of consensus.
Current image is mildly JAFAAC (especially since it's hard to tell it was supposed to be scary). I'd like to suggest the last two panels of this instead.
