S2E15: Yeah, I don't really care about this drama with Philomela at all. Jerkass granny is a boring antagonist. I'm also glad someone pointed out that Rian is being dense and stupid about Philomela. It's been bothering me all this time. Seriously, take the hint.
Grandma is really annoying antagonist. To bad, it seems we'll have to stick with her till the end of the season.

I don't mind her. I quite like villains who don't get their own hands dirty.
Last episode I had been thinking that Philomena may have been one of the kidnapped werewolf children (and her weakness is due to keeping her transformation suppressed), but I don't know how that would fit with her familiar's memories from this episode.

Knowledge is Power, Guard it WellDouble post but the last episode was very good, probably my favourite of the second season so far. It had some good character moments for most of the main students and we finally got some background for Veronica and Isaac (seems he may be hiding his face due to burns). The ending with the ghost reveal was a little funny as well.
Knowledge is Power, Guard it WellEpisode 20: The Philomela rescue mission is well underway. Expected backstory for Philomela, honestly couldn’t say I cared. Chise summoning Morrigan was cool though. Always interesting when she has to come to terms with what she’s capable of.
Zoey vs the werewolf was not a matchup I was expecting.
The first episode of the second part of season two was good. Like the little bit of action and I love the opening (I am sure that is a School of Athens reference in the middle, and for some reason the beginning reminds me a bit of one of the Rozen Maiden openings)
I also didn't realise until this episode that the school is meant to be below the British Library.
