The image seems a bit too much of a meme than an actual good image due to the "Nice" at the end. Something tells me that we really should replace it to something else and I'm not entirely sure if this image is on policy. I'd personally prefer there to be no image.

Yeah, that's way too clunky and I had to lean in to read the subtitles. Pull regardless of replacement.

Bump. I need more info on what to do with this one.

One suggestion; GTA 2's "enemy of my enemy" system for gang rivalries.

I link to the video because I'm not sure whether "zoomed out, to show the respect meter" or "zoomed in, so you can see what's going on more clearly" would be better, but basically the most relevant parts are at the beginning, at about 40 seconds in, and about a minute in.

I'd try finding a picture of Sonic/Dr. Eggman or Mario/Bowser working together to replace that extra large image. Those are perfect examples of Enemy Mine and one should be representative of the trope as a whole.

[up] I guess something like a picture of Bowser and Mario working together in Bowser's Inside Story or Super Paper Mario will work just fine then.

Maybe Mario and the Seven Stars.

EDIT: This image should work fine but it's not from anything canon.

[up] With that big black line between them, it doesn't exactly demonstrate that they're uniting against that goomba.

EDIT: I suppose you don't need to demonstrate that if you only use the left panel, but I'm still unsure whether being an example of this trope requires them to unite against a common enemy, or just unite against the circumstances. (They could've stopped fighting because they noticed an avalanche or something...)

It's been another dozen days, and this thread has fallen by the wayside.

Not sure if this constitutes JAFAAC, but would this constitute demonstrating the trope by way of Popcultural Osmosis?

No. Popcultural Osmosis as far as IP is concerned is only for things roughly as popular as Superman, Mickey Mouse, or Mario. If it's less than that, it needs to be able to stand on its own. And even for them, it's only about their most well-known qualities. Sonic himself might be enough for a Video Game subpage, but even then only as far as, "he's a fast, blue hedgehog" (which probably isn't that useful).
