Need help writing the story of a fighting game. I've already got the plot, settings, and characters, which brings me to what this thread is about, the script.
I was told by my creative writing teacher that scripts for video games work like movie scripts. However, as I've noticed, for a character in a fighting game, he or she doesn't necessarily has lines to say, but also, voice clips. Voice clips, to my knowledge, include sounds made by the character when he or she does a certain attack or is hit.

Now then, for the first order of business in this thread, I'll ask this: Do the voice clips for attacking or being attacked need to be written?
