Even though I love Feminist Fantasy, I don't think a thread dedicated to fangirling over a trope can hold up.

I always have loved the idea of a strong female lead in a fantastical or futuristic setting who's able to go through various obstacles and kick ass. I feel that women have more power in Fantasy and Science Fiction than in any other genre.
If you could come up with such a character, what would she be like? One example by me would be a female soldier in a spacefaring military. She is strong willed and tough as nails, is athletic, has a smart mouth, not to mention a big flirt with her male companions.
