Since when did this turn into the hate thread for The Emoji Movie? Oh, right, since we locked the actual topic for the movie. What's the moral lesson, here: that you can't contain people ragging on a truly bad idea, or that people refuse to get the message that we don't support it?

You can't seriously think that unwarranted hatred is justified, can you? Like, no, the movie does not deserve flak for something it didn't even do. Like, get out of your hate bubble and face reality. There is no justification for actually condoning people to hate on something under false pretenses. The only correct thing to do is correct them or simply ignore it if drama can be avoided. There's absolutely no legitimate reason to attempt to justify this kind of behavior.
