Title says it all. Has there ever been a character in a video game that you wish could be a love interest? The game doesn't even need to have a romance system. Any character from any game that isn't a potential love interest can qualify here.
Personally, I have one from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, more specifically, The Shivering Isles. I always Cutter was a cute Bosmer girl. True, she's totally batshit, but that's par for the course when you're a resident of the Shivering Isles. She even starts flirting with you after you complete the main DLC quest line! It was actually my attraction to Cutter that made me realise I was bisexual.
