The current image has the mustached guy expressionless in both panels, and the girl showing an expression that could be angry, could be simply frustrated, etc...
At least this one has more expressive characters and is (slightly) more concise.
Of course, we could always look for something better than either.

I think OP is an improvement because of the expression on the officer and, who's-it, the cat. Clearly the cop is suspicious, but that body language as well as that facial expression is not, and would not, help his case.

The clock's up and I'm not seeing consensus on anything; locking up.
This entry is heavily dependent on the dialogue, with the facial expressions contributing little to nothing. I think this VG Cats example at the very least benefits more from the setting, let alone the facial expressions.
