paranormal mystery plots for a pilot

so i'm finally getting around to making night slayer a thing, except it's now part finder and is more is more mystery focused. i'm currently in a writer's block and i need some creatives juices flowing asking you guys any prompts i should do.

things to note:

• hayley does the mystery solving while ellen wants to do the hunting. they also share a body together.
• ian most of the time accompanies them but the main duo might work with someone else.
• they use a book to trap these monsters responsible for most of these mysteries, which makes page detailing them.
• some of them want their hands on it.

you might be asking why am i doing this, because i can't think of anything right now. so there's that.

Bump.

There's always murders, disappearances, unusual sightings, somebody thinking they're being followed by something weird, strange environmental changes (raining frogs, inexplicable stench, oddly-colored fog/rain usw.).

I'm afraid with knowing as little as I do I find myself unable to do more besides chucking these out.
