Shameless Plug: TVT Role-play Edition

Thinking about making shameless plug discussions all over, but figured this is the best place to start. This is a place to, as the title stages, shamelessly name drop role plays or forum games that you have created or participated in, but are growing dead or need a little boost. In return, interested role players can look at this forum and discover any potential role plays. I encourage any moderators or admins to clean up this forum if anyone doesn't follow the below rules. Not trying to be a control freak, but there is a time and place for bureaucracy.

Rules

• The role play must obviously be appropriate to this site. C'mon guys (gals, non-binaries, whatever), use your heads and stay, while not squeaky clean, appropriate for this site. We are not all children, but we are not all adults or someplace away from work. Anyways, NSFW role plays risk shutting the forums down anyway, so best not to call attention to yourself anyway.

• No putting links to or attempting to lead people to a role play hosted on a different site. This is exclusively for TV Tropes, I or someone else may create a separate thread for those of interest is shown.

• No plugging for a role play or game that doesn't exist yet. You must go at least two weeks with no response in your game if you have below ten total posts before plugging. Be patient, give it time. Rome wasn't built in a day, but it sure can be destroyed in less.

• No plugging if above 900 posts unless at least six months have passed with no real developments in the game. Only loophole is if there is a really small (10>) number of players, or you are drawing attention to readers, instead of players. But if it's popular, while there is no such thing as notability, we kind of want as little as possible.

• Accepted forum games are ones that fit more into the role play category. No "the below avatar ate your cookie" or anything like that, but games where there is dialogue and story and characters, even if in the loosest sense, are allowed. Another discussion for plugs for those kind of games may be provided later.

• Have posts follow the format below

Name: (List name of game/role play)

Type: (Where is it currently hosted? If it gets moved, please remember to come back and edit this)

Pre-knowledge Required?: (Type yes or no, based on if the game is either connected to another game, be it sequel or reboot or etc, or based off an existing property. Than, explain how much influence this work has, be it very little, or dependent on it)

Type: (Play by post rpg, individual role play, ongoing collab story, etc)

Total Posts: (How many posts as of the time you write this? If you must, you can add small details like an amount of players or typical length of a post)

General Plot: (Story so far, the tone, the set up, whatever)

Details: (Just any additional details, why you are plugging, Looking for readers or writers, etc You don't have to fill this out if you don't want to. )

• Edit: One last thing- Remember, you aren't guaranteed more traffic, but you may also get a lot more. Make sure to specify if you are looking for quite a bit to jumpstart a newer game or just a few to revive and keep an older one fresh. Also, be considerate of the game's players and GM, whether or not it is you. There may be a lot more traffic and players, and this may make it harder to control, so be specific. Otherwise, have fun!
